Hello everyone!
My name is Lena, and I am so glad to be here! I am not new to either ponies or pony collecting, but I am just beginning to get back into it now that I have a 3.5-year-old daughter who has completely fallen for all things My Little Pony!
As an 80s child, I was obsessed with My Little Pony - I had a fair-sized collection and loved them all like I loved no other toys. I played with my ponies long after most of my friends were no longer interested. Sadly, my pony collection was stolen when I was 14 - they were being stored in my childhood home which we were renting out, having moved away. They were never recovered. I maintain some hope that they might be making some child or collector happy today. I have a very small collection of G1 ponies that I have come across over the years, but just recently I have become committed to the idea of at least trying to replace my original collection.
I swore I wouldn't ever be interested in the newer ponies, but my daughter really loves the Friendship is Magic show and I admit I'm hooked too! We have just started her collection of G4 ponies - I think we're actually sharing them, though.
I'm really looking forward to getting to know all of you and learning from all of your experience!
