The "ham" part in "hamburger" has nothing to to with ham. The proper name of a "burger" is "hamburger" and it is named after the German city of Hamburg. During WW2 in an effort to remove anything "German" from the American vocabulary (Similar to the whole "Freedom Fries" thing several years back) we started calling them just "burgers" and it has stuck ever since.

Well, I eat my words and it turns out that TRU is just slow. Finally spotted some Wedding FS Celestia and Wedding FS Luna at TRU today.

On the side note, the travelling ponies are finally here too. But only wave 2. I only see Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Diamond Rose and Cherry Pie. No travelling Rarity or Fluttershy :/

Well, I only eat those McD Burgers made from Vegetable-Patties. So THAT's a burger for me. ;D
(Also, I lol'ed at the attempt to remove anything german.. what happened to Kindergarden, Zeitgeist, Poltergeist and the like during that time I wonder. ;D)

On-topic tho: While I'm glad that they're re-releasing them for all those that could not get their hands on the first ones, I think I won't buy those. Too similar as far as C. goes and with Luna I simply like the first release better. Her bodycolor and all that glitter.. GLITTERRRRRR. *v*

Yes, she actually has very fine glitter in the plastic which gives it a pearly sheen. I have both Lunas.

Hmmm, the Wedding FS Luna I picked up didn't have glitter in the plastic, it looks the same last I had a general look, but looking again, the plastic seems to be a little different. It's hard to say, it looks two toned, but not glittery.

I just grabbed this off of Google search, but it's pretty close to what Luna's plastic looks like up close.

I personally don't like the reddish-violet hair in the new Luna, seems too bright of a color for me.  I'd rather her hair have hues of blue and dark purple.

Well, my pony sense picked it up way earlier. The reason I bumped was because my hunch was wrong and TRU has started carrying the Wedding FS too. So it's not just a Parkson-only exclusive like I thought it was earlier.

As for wave 2 of the travelling ponies, well, I bought them off BBTS back in February
