Yet another hello!

Hi! Hmm, introductions. Well, I'm a 22 year old college student from the U.S. who is an extremely new MLP fan, which probably makes me G4. I confess to knowing basically nothing about the previous generations, but I'm hoping to learn as time goes on. My major is in international business with a focus on Japan, which means I've been fairly disappointed that this new show doesn't appear to have been marketed in Japan.

Along with MLP I am a huge nerd/geek of many colors, and I read at least one book a day generally. My current series of obsession is, admittedly, less then intellectual. I recently picked up Lilian Braun's The Cat Who mysteries and its fluffiness has been appealing. So yeah...so far my favorite character has been Twilight Sparkle what with her being a bookworm to and all, and I hope to eventually be able to put together an anthropomorphic costume of her ^_^.

I confess to knowing little in the way of Japanese but I enjoyed learing about it for a term in high school.  You have certainly come to the right place to learn about ponies!  We have collectors and fans here from all generations so don't be shy to join in the conversations.
