I love spring! No more snow...lots of flowers, birds singing everywhere, and people selling their extra stuff for *CHEAP*!!!
I went garage saling yesterday and while I didn't really find any pony stuff (unless you count a Rarity from McD's), I did make out like a bandit!
I found a couple of old vintage plushies - a pluto from Disneyland dated around 1970, and a Little orphan Annie rag doll in mint condition from the 60's/70's. Both were $1! Also grabbed a bag of hotwheels and misc toys for my boys for $2. In the bag I found four hotwheels from the 1960s, all in mint condition! They might not be a gold mine, but they are worth more than what I paid for them, so I pulled them aside to ebay them later.
I also got a huge bag of clothes (we're talking big trash bag here) full of Abercrombie, Hollister, and American Eagle for $7! Mind you, I'm not the type of person to pay for anything from those stores, but if I get it for $.50 an item, I'm all for it.
I also picked up my husband an acoustic guitar for $25 - he's been wanting to try it out and teach himself so the price was right.
And lastly I found myself an authentic Coach handbag for $10(I've already done research on it)! I swore I would never own one, as I think it's ridiculous to spend over $200+ on a bag, but for $10 I figured I could settle.
All in all I had a wonderful time! And once I ebay the vintage plushies, and hotwheels, I should break even.
So tell me - what treasures did you find this weekend?
