Ah, um, hi? I'm new, I guess!

Hello guys, I'm Folly!
I um, I'm really not entirely sure what I'm doing here?  I suppose I joined up for a reason... I haven't been on a real forum in quite a while though, so I'm sure I'll be stumbling around lost for a little bit.  I'll figure it out, I guess!


Um, about myself, I'm sixteen, I spend most of my time sewing (right now I mostly make plushies, but I'm trying to branch out into clothes too), I'm heavily into Lolita and Decora fashion, and I'm a hopeless Doctor Who/Torchwood fangirl.  I don't particularly like crowds (understatement), and I hydrate myself primarily with tea (because I'm sure you all care about my hydration habits)


My pony collection is relatively small right now; I got my first pony (a G4 Fluttershy) for Christmas from my boyfriend last year, and I really haven't been buying more like mad or anything- I think I'm up to 7 total if you include the custom OC I still haven't finished.
Up to now I've mostly only been collecting G4s because of FiM, but lately I've been more interested in G1 ponies.  I don't have any on hand just yet, but I have a Surprise and baby Surprise in the mail right now and a few others I'm eyeing up~


I also collect Monster High dolls and ABJDs, in smaller quantities of course, seeing as the MH girls are about 4x as expensive as ponies and the BJDs are kind of a once a year if I'm lucky thing, haha. 


Um, yeah, so, I can't much think of anything else.  I'm excited to get to know the forum enough for me to actually figure out how to navigate it!  And um, all of you guys, of course... not that I want to be able to navigate you?  Uh.  Okay, yeah, I'm just going to stop here.


Edit: So I'm not sure where I ought to ask this, so I might as well ask here... where's the best place to lurk for new merchandise finds?  I really love seeing what's coming up, and taobao finds are always fun.  Just curious C:
