How long will you collect?

Forever.   I've loved MLP for 30 years now, so why should I suddenly stop?    I will say, I've decided to downsize my collection.  I had over 600 mlp's (prbly closer really to 700).  I decided one day, I had no room to do anything in my little bedroom for all the ponies.  I've already made a rather large dent by selling off my part collection.  I've kept the ones I love, and I made a promise to myself that I will not have a million dups of the same pony.  So just because Twilight Sparkle has a shiney new hat or glitter hair, or stickers this time around, I don't need another one.  Unless it's for a custom!

When I have the few ponies still on my wishlist, and all the stickers in my childhood  Panini album. Still want to go to Ponycon if it is within travelling distance by public transport of my house, so will be on the boards, and like looking at others collections.
Ponies are just one of a multitude of collections here, and since my house is already bursting at the seams, only my fave ponies will ever live here...

Forever I guess, if I collect something I tend to stick with it, so my skulls and ponies ahve always been around through thick and thin, they are the possesions I've managed to keep hold of at the expense of others. But that's life.
 

I'll be the old pony lady in the nursing home whose whole room is shelves of colorful ponies

I'll be the same I think, telling the carers to get one down so I can brush their hair then cursing them for putting it back in the wrong place

Since I've had MLP all my life so far, it would be silly to stop now.  :-p

I sometimes wonder what would happen to my collection if I died.  I have a number of semi-rare G1s that are worth a bit of money and nobody else in my family can use a computer.  I'd hate to think of my ponies not ending up back in the hands of collectors.

I dont think collecting stops once you have every pony you need/want...I think the joy of collecting is still being a part of a community like this...so I ll say "never" - even if I had every accessory and every pony from all 4 lines, I would still tune in here and have fun! "Collecting" is never over!
