Thank you everyone!  Sprinklecupcake - ahaha, yeah ... we're going to be very slow with everything. Heck, we've already been together for 6.5 years and I only now asked her to marry me!! LOL! So I don't think an actual wedding will happen for a while. I'm finishing up a degree, she's still working on her degree(s)... we're saving for a nice vehicle to replace my junker of a van, and I'm saving for an automotive course at my campus (because paying for mechanics these days .. just no, I would rather expand on my mechanical knowledge and do it myself!) So we're in no rush. And that in itself is nice. But aw! Yeah, unexpected things happen! It's funny you would mention Disney-themed wedding because SHE was talking about Disney too! haha! vintage pups - I DID NOT MEAN TO LAUGH AT THE SLEEPING MAN ON THE BENCH THING! Omg that was so cute/funny, and man Iw ould have been flustered too, though! Then again, I would have likely been like "okay let's go get some lunch/dinner/whatever and come back later when the man might be gone!" LOL!

Gloomygirl777 - Aw, thanks.  After the gallery thing, she said we should go to Red Lobster and I was like "okay!" We had a great waitress who was really funny and made our engagement night dinner really swell. The meal was great! She'd never had lobster tail before, so we had some of that, and she loved it! We went to some different stores. It's great that we love games and collecting things, etc because we literally went and spent over an hour in Toys R Us just enjoying each other's company and looking at EVERY SINGLE AISLE just for kicks. It might seem like a silly place to go try and be 'romantic' together, but it was really fun for us. (That and I think I saw a giant stuffed Giraffe she would LOVE to have for Christmas! haha!) Today brightened up considerably! MoonbeamStar - Yeah, we're going to have a "stay home and cuddle movie night" where I'm going to get her favourite kettle corn, we'll pick a movie together, and just stay in and watch a movie together. It's been a long while since we've had the chance to do that. She lives with her family in the next town over, and I live near our college campus with my sister right now (it was an ideal location when I worked at the college, so yeah.) It seriously impacts our time together, and we're both so busy that we rarely get to meet up. It doesn't help that she doesn't drive (she's afraid of cars because she fell out of one as a child, and it was moving at the time!!) so it's hard for her to just randomly drop in on me lol. But yeah, I'm hoping that we can have a laugh over this  Pony engagement interaction, what with Mario (and Luigi, I found out!) standing near us, and apparently everyone in the art gallery behind us were all dressed up for the holiday and stuff too, so it was really amusing apparently. I definitely feel a lot better about all this. Thanks everyone for posting, too. It really lifted my spirits (well that and spending time with my new fiancee after the gallery thing!) People have been asking us these last 6.5 years why we weren't engaged or married yet... LOL One mile marker down, I suppose. We probably won't get married until after she gets her Bachelor's though. Too much going on, and we have to save money anyway! But it's a start! ^____^

Thanks everyone! Aadra301 - Yeah.. there definitely is too much pressure on it.. I mean I was pretty confident she'd say yes, but I also felt so silly out there like that... but I'm slowly feeling better, talking to folks about it. Oooh and okay thanks for letting me know about the MHArena thing. Yeah I'm going to just watch some Walking Dead while waiting, I guess. Thanks! Honeycomb - And yeah, it is the happiest thing.  I just... I wanted it to be more memorable for her, I guess.. well, for us. Though "got proposed to while dressed as Gracie and Mario standing nearby, and it was raining..." kind of is memorable, haha. I'm definitely wanting to take her to a nice restaurant so we can just talk and be together over a good dinner after all this settles. I feel better about it, slowly but surely. I wish it would stop raining though! I feel like the sky is weeping that we got engaged! I hope it's happy tears, then I'd be okay with it! Lol! Silver Glade - Ahaha, the only way it could have been nerdier, maybe, is if I gave her a triforce instead of a ring. Though, our bands are actually Skyrim related.. is that nerdier...?

Hi guys. I know I don't come around often, but I wanted to stop in and say hi... and babble a little about a life event of mine today. I got engaged today! More specifically, I asked my girlfriend of 6.5 years if she would marry me today. I felt like an idiot with my cheap ring, standing next to her (she was dressed like Gracie from Animal Crossing New Leaf) and our friend (who was dressed like Mario......) and it started to rain and as I was asking her, my sister called my cell phone and it was just a mess. I wanted to cry.  But she said she loved me and we're "facebook official" or whatever (Lol, so silly...) I still feel a bit dumb. I wanted to take her to dinner too but she's working with some art club folks at our campus hanging a new gallery show (I didn't know they were hanging that today... so now I feel more foolish?) I just feel like.. I waited and waited and waited and waited and then the one day I pick to do it (Halloween, because she posted a picture for me that said "I know what you should be for Halloween this year! 'Mine!'" and I was like.. why not?! so I made myself "hers".. ) .. but anyway.. the one day I pick to do it, the one time I meet up with her... is the time when everything else happens at once and makes me feel dumb afterward. So I'm happy! But I feel like it got all messed up. I can't even talk to her until she's done with the gallery thing now, too... it could be hours! Sigh.. Have any of you ever tried to do a huge, life-altering thing! only to have it blow up in your face and make you feel dumb...? I mean, the good thing is.. she didn't throw the rings in my face and stomp off... lol. u.u so that's something! yay! ...  ;; So now I guess I'll just sit here clicking refresh to see if I get accepted into the Monster High Forum, since I have HOURS to wait until my new fiancée gets done with her gallery preparations. (Are people still even getting accepted for registrations over there? It's been a day or so since I requested a join, so I didn't know the turn around on that?)

I'm not sure, actually! We were supposed to go get things out of storage this year, but it doesn't look like that will happen. Maybe by summer of next year, hopefully!

Haha, yeah. I was feeling really sad with my other ponies so far away. For the longest time I refused to watch FiM or collect any of the toys for it because I was like "Ugh it's not the saaaaame" but then I started watching it for whatever reason, and now I'm really in love with the FiM ponies. Not quite as much as the G1s, but hey whatever. It's just nice to have ponies again!

Oh wow, super exciting! I wanted my own pony room once upon a time, but I figure my collection isn't nearly big enough to get its own room at this point, haha! Maybe one day! But wow, I can't wait to see this pony room finished! Awesome!

My original collection is in storage in Tennessee, and has been since Christmas 2008 when I moved from the area. ! So since being in California since 2009/2010 (came, left, came back lol! ) I decided it was time to start collecting again. This photo is pretty much my collection so far. I'm posting it finally because I got some ponies from Arena Members over the last couple of days, and I thought, well why don't I show them off?! I'm really enjoying my collection so far. I prefer G1s as those are the toys I played when I was younger (born in 82, lol, they were the best. My first two were Baby Moondancer and SS Posey! ) I think my favourite pony in my current collection is my large Build-A-Bear Rainbow Dash. She was a gift to me by a friend I met while going to the college that I work at now. That friend just happened to work at Build-a-Bear and she stuffed it for me, and brought it to our painting class and surprised me with it! Haha. My second favourite would have to be SS Lofty, even though I just got her from Arena Member, Sunshine. I LOVE Lofty, I think she's very beautiful, and she's so soft! I vaguely remember having a SS Lofty when I was younger, and how she would go on all kinds of adventures... I lost her somewhere in all my moving around, but now I have a new one and love her just as much!

Okay I know this has nothing to do with this debate about My Little Pony Tales... but ... o.o I have never seen this before. I have the G1 DVD compilation that has similar cover art, but I can't find anything about a compilation of Tales... I thought that it was only Australia release (last I checked..) Can someone clue me in on this? Is there a North American release of Tales or am I dreaming? Back on the subject of Tales being in a specific generation though, I always thought that it was G1 (before I really knew what Generations were, honestly) because it was released closer to the original cartoons. Then ponies disappeared for a while and when they came back they looked nothing like how the original or Tales looked, so I always just figured that Tales was part of the "original" ponies, and that the "new ponies" (aka the G2s at the time) were just new ponies. I hated them but learned to like them.. or particularly the five that I bought back then.

Hello everyone! I'm Tj and I'm back! I've been gone for several years really, as I got very busy with life! I used to be TheMonokeros ages ago, but had changed my username a long while back. No, I'm not anti ferrets lol, I love ferrets! But anyone at has played kingdom hearts would know the "anti" as antisora ...I go by Ferret or Tj usually. 31, college student, I work on the campus in the ceramics studio. Art major with an emphasis on studio arts. I'm a sculptor. :3 taking some time off this summer so hopefully I can be around more. Yes I do sculptures of ponies! I also sew and knit, alongside other crafty things. I draw, too. Big love of G1s, and some of the G3s. I believe MLP:FiM is G4? Or...? I love friendship is magic. Rainbow Dash is my favourite, followed by Luna! Well, I'ma go for now. Gotta get ready for work. :3 Nice to meet everypony again!
