Anyone know if these are in the UK yet? Smyths has started listing some new stuff like Rarity's Boutique and Pop Twilight's Castle and says it should be in stock next week, though they are known to keep pushing dates back so it's not definite. Toys R Us here are terrible at keeping their website up to date though, so it's hard to tell when or if they'll have the exclusive pony mania stuff

I found them in my local supermarket today (Sweetie Drops, Sunset Shimmer and AJ), they don't normally ever have any ponies. I'm in the UK. 
I haven't seen them in the supermarket yet! But I have seen them in Toys R Us, as well as Wilkos. I'm in England, UK.

ugh, I wish they'd say if the hair is pose-able. I know it sounds weird but that's a big deal breaker for me  I like it, but that's because I like kind of weird and out-there creepy cool toys. What I will say is that the exclusive doesn't feel very "my little pony" to me at all, even though I like it! It feels like an exclusive for another toy brand. Nothing about it really speaks to the MLP brand - it has nothing to do with fashion or design, it doesn't have brushable hair... I can definitely see why people dislike it as an exclusive. I think Hasbro are thinking more about making a product that appeals to comic con attendees than making a collectors item. Personally I'd be beyond delighted if Hasbro went back to making art ponies and used them as exclusives, but maybe that wouldn't sell so well, i dunno.

have any sites said yet if this year's exclusive has poseable hair? It's hard to tell in the photo and it doesn't say in any of the descriptions I've seen. And $50 is a lot!! It's typical that the one year I have a friend going to SDCC the exclusive would be something I'm not even sure if I want  At least the monster high and ever after high exclusives this year are awesome

I'm currently trying to make a G4 Princess Luna more show-accurate my making her less purple. I dyed her last night and she took the dye ok, she's a nice shade of dark navy now, not too far off her show colours visitors can't see pics , please register or loginas you can see, the dye also gave her goth black hair, since she was in it for so long but my issue is that I have no idea how to get inside to rehair her without completely messing up her wings. All the other times I've removed alicorn wings they've been a mess afterwards. Does anyone have any tips for removing them but not ruining them, so I can reattach them later?

I wanted to try dyeing a custom instead of painting, but I'm a bit nervous. The only white G4 being sold is a unicorn, so if I wanted to dye a pegasus or a regular pony I'd be working over their base body colour. Will that affect the outcome of the dye a lot?
Does anyone have experiences with this they can share? I've only ever painted customs so far and I'm new to dyeing, so please give me any stories or links to tutorials or anything you've got!

(Or not yet, anyway.) So they might just be available in Russia right now. However, I also haven't been able to find anyone online selling these, or even anyone posting about them. This person's tumblr is the only place I've even seen them mentioned! Which is disappointing, because I love the look of the figures inside and I'd love to get the set! Does anyone have any info, or any ideas on how to get info?

I am working on a little project, and for it I need to choose many non-G4 ponies. That is why I would like to ask what is everyone's favourite non-G4 pony?
Preferably I would like ones that have not been characters in any of the cartoon shows. It would also be really good if you could post a picture of the pony too!

As a UK collector, I often get frustrated by how slowly new ponies get released over here - or when we don't get them at all, like the Toys R Us exclusives and such. I feel bad asking American friends to pick up the toys for me, but I figured "hey, a my little pony collector forum probably has threads for people asking to get stuff sent to them, right?" I haven't seen any though!  Anyway, this made me curious how other non-American collectors get their ponies! Do you ask friends to pick them up? Do you trawl eBay for ponies? Have you negotiated the maze that is ordering from Taobao? Or do you check actual stores, hoping for some to have made it to your local shelves? Or maybe something else!! This is my first time making a thread, so I hope one like this is ok!!

Hello,
I've started collecting and customising ponies since G4 launched and I was advised that this site is great for pony merch collectors, so I made an account. I live in the UK so it can be pretty frustrating when american collectors get the new merch but it's not released here! (I'm looking at you, Zecora and Nightmare Moon toys r us sets!)
I also collect Re-Ment miniatures, Pinky Street dolls and merchandise for games I like, so I'm a bit of a hoarder to be honest... It's a tough habit to break.
