Whoa dang don't know how my post got messed up but what I said was. I've found G1's only twice since living here. Once at Ballard GW and once at Cap Hill VV. G1 ponies we're more plentiful in Chicago. Used to find them lots at Village Discount Outlets.

I don't think so..but I know for sure there's a G3 pony that has a cinnamon bun symbol: D

It took a year of searching for her. Mainly cause I wanted one with NO head/body mismatch, which seems really common for this pony :< Pic attached is mine w/ my other fav pony Munchy<3

OMG I was seriouly going to buy that lot! But chickened out at the last minute  I really only wanted Red Roses and not so much the other ponies. How much would you be willing to sell her for?? I think the most I'd be willing to pay for her is $60. But if you do decide to buy this lot maybe you can get a proper PC from the corral. Cause she doesn't look completely minty so that might drive her price down.

But then after seeing pictures of her all over ebay/arena I became possessed by " The Cult of Mimic" so to speak lol. She's so unique among MLP unicorns( it bums me out so many are pink/purple or are in the same poses.) After losing 2 ebay auctions for her I bought her off a lovely arena member. Her horn is apoxy sculpted and her back hoof(she was attacked by a cat in a former life)but she's SO MINT otherwise her hair is soooo soft. I realize I could have bought two/three ponies for her price but I don't regret it at all<3

I used to have a friend that was OBSESSED with finding ponies in the thrift store. :/ She got jealous of all my G1 ponies ( that I bought off eBay). I tried to tell her how impossible it was to find ponies in the thrift store. This was all when I lived in Chicago and we both would go thrifting everyday. We found lots of eighties treasures besides G1 ponies: one time we found all the Rainbow Bright color kids, another time we found a bunch of vintage Littlest Pet Shop STILL IN THE PACKAGES, and then there was the time I found 4 huge bags of vintage Strawberry Shortcake( sold on eBay for $$$). The only key to finding stuff is GOING EVERY DAY. But more often it would be like the OP's story ...you would spend all your time/energy/money and you would find nothing. It's better to shop on eBay/etsy/arena and have the ponies come too you! BUT sometimes you do get lucky. I went in a Value Village by my work. I was looking at dresses and moseyed by the toys and a bag caught my eye. 2 baby G1 ponies!!! Score!!!!
