I managed to snag one on Amazon for 16.99 USD this morning (sold by Amazon themselves; that at least shows she's stocking in the States)! =D I'll post some out-of-box pics when she arrives. She was the last one, too!
I'm heading to Target next week, so I'll hunt for any new MLP merch there, as well...

Wow, they're finally marketing "retro" pony merchandise... For some reason MLP has avoided doing that (probably due to copyright renewal issues), even though fellow Hasbro brands like Transformers market their G1 stuff like crazy. Whatever the issue, it's good to see G1 ponies finally making their presence known in the modern day! Time for me to go search my local Rite Aid!

Wow, hats off... Those wings are epic! And nice choice with the "punk" socks and armwarmers! I have socks just like those for myself. If my pockets weren't so empty from all the sales that happen around this time of year, I'd have to take you up on a commission.  Out of curiosity, do you use model paint for the body, or do you dye it? I'd love to see Spitfire, complete with her military jacket, or even G1's Firefly.

I take a mini jaw clip(for human hair) and double it up in a mess pony-bun look which look really cute, and some I keep their tails braided like my Silly Sunshine. But I think most collectors frown on braids for some reason, although I really like them.
I think the braids are pretty as well, but I can tell you why a lot of collectors dislike them... Leaving MLP hair braided for too long creates s a lasting curling or kinking in it. The only way I've found to get the hair straight again is with the hot water method, which also alters the shape. Not something you want to do if the pony in question has any factory curl left. X3 Basically, if the hair is in decent shape, it's best not to mess with it much, lest you cause more "damage". I'm not a "mint" or "NIB" collector, so I don't really care for my own collection ("well-loved" ponies hold a lot more character and nostalgia, to me). But for a collector seeking a museum-quality toy, it's a big turn-off to see altered or restyled hair.

I love the MLP "creatures", so totally yes! I always wished that the villains from G1 had been released in plastic form, honestly (especially the ones from RaMC... *drools*). Having more variety in my G4 collection would be fun!

A little early, but TRU is having an epic sale (online and in-store, I believe!) on the 20" G4 plushies... they're down from $32.99 to $20. I picked up Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity, so I saved almost $40 total. I find it very fruitful to watch all of the major retail websites around this time of year; there's a LOT of sales!

I DO keep Nightmare Moon near my bed! Her FC brushable sits on a shelf adjacent to the foot of my bed, next to some other favorites from my toy collection. I have nightmares almost every night, but that was happening before Nightmare Moon took up residence... Am I immune?  Talking Nightmare Moon will be moving onto that shelf soon, as well. (HA HA, the nightmares have been DOUBLED! =D)
