I only own a handful of MIB G1 ponies, but I wouldn't dream of taking them out of the box.  On that note, I own them MIB and loose and display them together.  I don't find it "sad" (they're plastic ponies, they don't have feelings!), I feel more like it's preserving a piece of history that I'm particularly fond of.  As others have said, it's more about the nostalgia. 

But I don't think this is a difficult issue - If you prefer loose ponies, buy loose ponies.  They're generally way cheaper and easier to find, so I don't imagine it should ever be a personal dilemma unless you came across a MIB in the wild.  In that case - sell it and buy a whole BUNCH of loose ponies!   :)

Thank you!  My pups are perfect little angels... :angel: kinda.

And, Yes!  It's a magical place!  It has a petting zoo and an animatronic veggie band or something!  They make everything fresh in the store, so their sweet potato chips are cut and fried RIGHT BEFORE YOUR VERY EYES!  We have nothing like this where I live.  I am supremely jealous.

Ariana and I did our second private swap because we are such kindred spirits and we just adore getting pony mail from each other!  Ariana is always such a sweet and generous swapper!  She's tough to keep up with, but I make a concerted effort to match her in swaps!  This time, she blew me away!

She always makes the boxes fun on the outside, so I know exactly who it's from!

I'm calling this.. the ultimate amazing Princess Swap box!  She COMPLETED my Princess set!!  Just look at these ponies!  TAFETTA!  SUNBEAM!  MOONDUST!  SPARKLE!  What?!  She even included a hat and bushwoolie!!

She even included the best snacks from my favorite grocery store that I've never physically been in: Stew Leonards! (I must live vicariously through her and photographs, but thankfully she sends me a taste of the goods in every box!   :lol:)  The selection included natural potato chips and sweet potato chips, which I've never seen or even heard of before!  They're amazing!  She also sent cheese popcorn (YUM) and homemade style (award wining) cookies!  Somehow she's amazingly good at knowing everything I love.

I kinda like Chicken Pinkie, it's funny.   :lol:  I like that they went with an outfit, but sort of amused it's more Pinkie.  A new pony would have been nice, but this is a neat twist too.

I wonder if the chicken suit is fully removable and if Pinkie has hair under there...

This; I don't know if you have a Hancock Fabrics or a Jo-Ann Fabrics in California, but they both sell Sulky Metallic embroidery thread that is a perfect pony tinsel match.  If you don't have one of those stores, call up your local Fabric stores and ask them if they carry the Sulky metallic embroidery thread.  You could always buy online from one of those stores as well.

It comes on a spool, here is what it looks like when cut!

The boots are well made, the materials thick.  I imagine similar materiels are used in the shoes; but I could see where the strap on the shoe would be a weak point since it needs to flex a lot. 

I would see if Ironfist has a return policy/warranty for the shoes if you're worried about them lasting.  Just keep your receipts!  Most companies want to keep you happy!
