and of those colors, dark red followed very closely by black.

Lol, I just can't help it. I always get antsy around my birthday

But, as of today, I am 21!

Honesty though, I am not overly fond of drink, so it does not mean as much to me as it does to some.

However, I was given my first present by a dear friend yesterday.

I now own a bottle of port.

Through sipping sibling's and parent's beverages over the years, I have come to discover that I do not care for the taste of alcohol unless it is sweet wine or mead. Hence the port. Bonus! It was made by a really nice guy whom I had the pleasure of meeting yesterday (he also brews and sells mead ) Plus, as I stated before, it was given to me by a very dear, close friend.

I hope I like port!

Later today I am going over to my sister's house to have dinner with the family. We will have garlic chicken breast (it has breadcrumbs and butter and garlic-y goodness) with mashed potatos and green beans (all homemade) and a german chocolate cake! My favorite! I have already gotten so many lovely birthday wishes, and this day is only getting better <3

I'll admit, I was a little stumped at the beginning of this swap. My original idea was not going to work (and I'll go ahead and say that I wouldn't have had time for it anyway)

I changed tactics and looked over my partners likes again.

The thing that really jumped out was ANGLER FISH

I had to do it.

Then I had to figure out how to mix the colors my partner liked with a dull browninsh fishy.

Her hair is a mix of bobby blue (I think), Black Magick, Vampire Kiss, and a touch of raincloud. Her little lure and fins are sculpey, and she is painted with acrylics.

She has blind eyes (made with white and the palest blue) that glow in the dark with the tip of her lure

Her symbol is sort of an abstract coral or deep sea plantlife.

Wow, I love Chief in red! I think it looks nicer than his original colors.
