It's not mulit-region but if you have a newish dvd player (last 7 years or so) then it should be region free. As Far as I know all DVD players sold now days are region free. Other wise as Hathorcat said you can hack it easily.

I'm happy to be the go between for those who just have to have it. I'm willing to do this at cost, so what ever the DVDs cost plus postage. Where did you find it Loa?

I have the entire series from an old release that came in seperate cases and some of the Tale episodes. I'll go for a hunt this weekend and see what I can find and how much everything is and report back.

I think it also deoends on what you define by collection. Are you talking about just ponies or merchandise or other really cool pony related stuff? Because I know some people on here are very big merch collectors.

I have about 200 ponies, all G1 plus lots of playsets and random merchandise. But I temporaryily stopped collecting 3 years ago because of my city's massive earthquake, plus most of my ponies are bought overseas as New Zealand doesn't (or didn't when I was collecting) have much in the way of G1 ponies.

The 2 memories I remember of my ponies were when I was 8 or 9 years old (early 1990s). The first one is of having fun jumping on my trampoline a few days before my birthday and on the tramp was all my ponies (I'd done this quite a number of times in the past with nothing happening) and as luck would happen I managed to land on one of my ponies and very badly twist my ankle. :( As Murphy would have it even more we were going to have a treasure hunt, I think the only way I managed to join in was with the 'help' of Raincurl. :)

The 2nd one is of a birthday cake made to look like a pony carosel made of the petiet ponies and the roof out of their backcards. Unfortunately I only have 1 left of them. :( When I get home I could find the photo I have of me blowing out the candles of the 'pony cake' if people want.

I've always wanted one of the duffle bags that the sleeping bags came with - if it was still in good nick I'd use it quite often.

Price Check Archives / Re: Price Check - Paradise Estate and accessories

Thanks Hathorcat. It sucks having to downsize but it has to happen.

I've been out of the pony community for so long that I had no idea about prices and such so the guide you've just given me is very helpful! I'll try my luck with selling it together on eBay otherwise it might have to be parts.

Thanks guys for the help!

I can understand that, I'm not sure if I want to do that, considering I could have pieces left over.

If I did consider selling separately then what would be the estimate for all the pieces?

Price Check Archives / Price Check - Paradise Estate and accessories

Hi guys, long time no post! I'm based in Christchurch New Zealand and 3 years ago I was effected by the series of massive earthquakes that are still effecting my life all these years later. Because of all the moving I've had to do and the downsizing, I'm unfortunately having to part with a few of my G1 collection starting with my Paradise Estate and most of its' accessories.

I have the basic shell of the building with the 4 rooms (with most if not all the stickers), pool, patio, roofs (sun faded to that horrible peachy colour and a slightly broken corner of 1 roof) and main gate. The inside only has 2 sets of doors instead of 4 but the rest of the window frames etc are there.

The accessories I have with it include all 4 ceiling fans, diving board, flowers, seahorses, pool canopy (with only 1 heart clip), 4 columns, 1 lantern for main gate, bed and blanket, dresser, 1 perfume bottle, floor lamp, table lamp (a little bent), sofa, chair, coffee table (with stickers), tv (with stickers), sink, stereo, toaster, 1 glass, 2 milk bottles, 1 plate, the crib with no mattress, toy box, changing table, duck pull toy (no string), stack toy, patio table, 2 patio chairs and 1 rainbow canopy.

How much is it worth now days? I've had it for about 5 years now - most of that time spent in careful storage.
