I wouldn't worry too much about that right now. They are shifting a lot of products around according to their new plan-o-grams, which means they are putting each brand name in the spot they are going to be at Christmas, even though there is not much stock on the shelves right now (at my local WM anyway). They will be ready to put all the new Christmas stock out sometime in October. You'd better get what you want then, because in December, there will be slim-pickin's.

That "pixie curl extension thingy" is a Pixietail from the Lady Lovely Locks line of dolls. They are perfect accessories for ponies. Just imagine how cute a little dragon would have been!

I have both dark and regular blue Bow Ties. They both have short hair. My regular one is from childhood. My dark blue one has developed 2 brown spots The flash lightened them both up a bit. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I'm not sure how much fun she's having with her head removed!  She'll be reassembled at some point. I imagine some folks are wondering if I spent a lot for her. I will admit I was a bit disappointed that she didn't turn out to be a variant, but it's not like I spent $500 or even $50 on her. She was only a fiver  Well worth that to find out. I think lots of folks would have chanced $5 on a possible variant.

She arrived yesterday. It was a lot work to get her head off  She was just about black inside from rust and flakes of rust fell out of her. The tail washer was badly rusted, but still there. Eldarwen made punk barbies   Hmm, so to check for evidence of a dye job, after getting her apart and after cleaning any rust stain/debris out; there should be one or more of the following- stains (if not watercolor) around the plug holes, stains (if not watercolor) from dye dripping down inside if it was saturated, white roots/white inside the tail clip if there was not enough dye to saturate them. Then we go from there. Ok, I think I'm ready! Ohhhhh.... Get Here already pony!

Hmm, I guess she'll be in need of a real good shampoo to see what will wash out. Her smell might also give me clues. If she smells like chemicals/ammonia, she'll have had a dye job. If it's musty/damp, then she's badly rust stained. Can't wait to see what will come out

When she gets here I will pop her head off, 'twill be "Off with 'er head!" If there are stains around the plug holes, how will I be able to tell if it's from the tail rust, or from a dye job? I am scratching my head on that one...
