I loveeeeee Care Bears! I have several older ones I've rescued from Goodwill or other second hand places and I have some of the newer ones. I have all series 1-4 of the blind bag characters and the target exclusive care bear figure collection. I also have a cute little duffle bag and a quilted blanket that I hang up on my wall.
My favorite would be Grumpy Bear (he's so grumpy I just can't help but love him) and Wonderheart Bear (that baby face!) I'm also a super big fan of any of the cousins.

Anyone interested in the guardians of harmony needs to keep a close eye on Amazon! I was able to buy cheese sandwich and his tank (retails at 19.99) for $4.84 with amazons add on program. I also got the rainbow dash for $4.06 and pinkie pie for $4.81. 
Discord statue (retailing at $29.99) was also listed for $12.
The prices have since been raised but I see them continuously changing so I'd just keep an eye on them!


Also anyone who collects equestria girl minis, Amazon has the new Rainbow Rocks line and Adagio Dazzle doll. I got my full set the other day

I think they're fun! their expressions are vibrant and full of life!  The round heads remind me of the show and that's what's Hasbro is going for.
I got Rarity, AJ in the clear purses and the FS / Celestia pack.   Can't wait to see more characters in this new styling!  Diamond Rose!? 

My only concern is hair quality - but honestly - even if they kept the body styling the same I'd still be concerned about that.

I really love the reboot because they're more lively, as you said. They don't have the same basic mold as every other pony like old g4s did. They're different and unique and I'm super excited about where it's heading.

I would be interested in pontville- playsets, ponies or accessories.
