Pony Corral / Re: Will it ruin the collectable value if I open the box?
« on: September 26, 2020, 04:37:45 PM »
Well, as far as I've been made aware, as soon as a box is opened it's compromised, so value goes down.  I'm not an expert, so someone can correct me if I'm wrong! ^.^
But....if you leave it with the hair, yours might be the only MIB ST Applejack with a mysterious hair from the factory sealed inside!  You can use the 'OOAK' heading in your EBay title
If it bugs you to much to display her with it though, I would order a new one and send mystery hair Appplejack back.

Thanks for the tips! They're definitely fruit flies and they're Florida sized (meaning bigger than they should be). My windows haven't been opened since I've moved in, around 3 weeks? The only thing I can think of is the garbage. I can't put it outside and the compactor is too far away for me to walk so my sister comes by with the car. I rinse everything like cat food and soda cans but maybe I missed something. Luckily, I have a disposal so there isn't any food in the garbage.

I'll definitely try a trap though! Lousy bugs.

It is quite amazing what a cup with some wine or rotted fruit and a lid poked with tiny holes can do, those little suckers go in, but can't get out.
A food disposal?  Definitely try plugging those drains for sure :)

My trivial complaint today is my pantry/fridge are pretty bare and there is nothing that doesn't require work to prepare. Which is a good thing tbh, cause I have been wanting to munch all day  ^^;

I'm so sick of these fruit flies! :shakefist:

I don't even know how they got in here. I'm keeping on top of the cat litter and don't have any food out. Why are there so many?! Why do they keep trying to fly up my nose?!

I feel your pain.  Question...do you have your windows open ever?  That's how I figured out how they were getting into my house... I caught one of those little a-holes crawling right through the screen!

If you don't have your windows open, they could be coming through your drains, through the pipes from other suites.  Fruit flies/drain flies are pretty similar a quick glance.  Try keeping your drains plugged for a bit with your stoppers after setting up a simple fruit/drain fly trap and see if that helps :)

I don't have an explanation as to why they are trying to fly up your nose though

Thank you all!

I plan on making a couple more blanket designs in lighter bg colors too.

Wow, these are fantastic!  What's the dimensions of the throw? The website didn't say

Sorry!  50x60 blanket,  I’ve edited the website now!

Thank you!  That's quite the blankie

My trivial complaint today?   I don't feel like working and would much rather hunker down and catch up on my "I-wanna-watch-this-movie" list.

They still taste pretty much the same.  It seems the higher quality name brands have more definition to them, instead of  just random vague animal shapes that might be a giraffe, or a hippo, or a lion...

Oh. haha.
I disagree a bit. The stauffer ones are cooked differently, and that's why they have a different puffy shape. (Think like how a saltine cracker is, or ritz).

As a kid, I hated saying I wanted an animal cracker and getting the wrong kind.

LOL that's  totally fine that you disagree, as you are most likely right :D   It was a random statement and I had no real science to back it up.  Just talking for the sake of trying to be funny lol.

I never liked them as a child, but remember having to eat them.  As a (pretend) adult, I wouldn't willingly eat them...unless I was reeeeally hungry :P

What a beautiful looking family  :inlove:

I do not own him, and most likely never will unless by some freak chance of nature.

I probably haven't fed Pronking, my baby Kau, in about 6 years  >_<
I just got frustrated playing Neopets when they expanded into making you spend real money if you wanted to keep up and get special stuff.   No thanks.
I can't even remember how to sign in tbh.

what the frack? Those look like they’ve been scraped on pavement and repackaged! Who buys these?!?! Where’s the icing?
Canadians buy them, no other option unless we are going down for  USA junk food run!

At least those pictured have some sort of glaze on them, like lovesbabysquirmy said, ours are bone dry

Ivy's pony name registry: my online girlfriend was Baby Squirmy and I was Baby Half Note

Aw, that's sweet! I never knew that, I just thought your favorite pony was Baby Squirmy.

Me too   ^.^

I'm so boring.   slyons is my first initial, last name.   I'm not super creative and couldn't commit to anything when I signed up

I tell them they are "so pretty" or "doesn't that feel better" after I have finished cleaning them up.
When I get a new pony I tell them I'm making a place for them to live and introduce them to the rest "hey gang, this is Dutch Diary" or something like that.
Lol, I totally did that when I introduced Munchy to the gang, as she was purchased from Austraila and I told Tex "to settle down and that just because she has an accent (I hear Tex as a Texan, naturally) and is yellow like you doesn't mean your getting married or anything"
 :snicker:
