Whatever it took... Of course I actually spent eight months communicating with a person in another country trying just to get them to sell the pony to me. I kept throwing out very high offers, and they were all rejected. It was worth it though when the seller finally gave in and sold it to me.

You all may hate me, but I just bought one this morning for $17 at Walgreens. It seems they have some old stock left here and there. I would check around...
I think (like with most pony generations while they are current) that as the line draws new collectors, those new collectors want the whole line. And since they were not active for the first half of the line, they are trying to get everything released so far.
This usually doesn't create as big a spike in prices. However, I believe Hasbro has gotten a little smart about this this generation, and I don't think they are releasing the same amount of certain ponies. Like, for example, we are seeing right now with Diamond Rose and Cherry Pie.
Just my guess though, haha!

A lot of the reason for this is rooted in how much eBay charges for fees, I'm afraid. I know that's what I am up against as an eBay seller. On a very happy note, I am always happy to work with Arena members through the Arena, as I am 110% sure other members are

I might be a little rusty here, but I would go with these:
Italy Flutterbye: $35 - 50 (if mint, she would be popular in my opinion) Italy Bluebelle: $30 - 45 French Starshine: $85 - 95
I hope you can get a second opinion though!

I would, without a doubt, have to say the G1s!!!!!!!!!! I love all generations (well, okay, not so much the G3.5s, lol!) of MLP, but there was a lot more quality and "little girl magic" poured into the G1s. They represent actual fantasy horses and magical creatures to me. They seem like more of an escape from reality, whereas the subsequent generations feel more like the horse versions of Barbie to me...

I give my buyers several days. Then I send them a message giving them a time limit on a response. I open a case if I don't hear back from them. As for a time frame, it is up to you as a seller. Also, like ponylady said, I would always send a separate message. Even I forget to read invoice messages.
Lastly, hate to say it this way, but you're going to have to get used to non-paying-buyers/bidders. I see at least 2 each week. Ebay doesn't care, and neither do they.

I am no accessory expert, but I can say that I *believe* only Baby Pearly came with one that color, and that yes, when the pony is rare, the accessories will be also. As for a price, I would say $9-10?
