Huzzah! I'm super excited about the e-book thing. It should be epic. Also glad to be able to work on the Little Pretty section again soon, so many things to add.

Dang! Crazy ribbon prices! haha I might not part with those!
Heh, you may have noticed that Star Hopper is suspiciously missing from that list. The others are lovely but I don't think I'll love them as much as someone else might.

I did a search and found a recent price check for a few of the Sparkle Ponies and it seems the ribbons are pretty valuable since they seem to be unique to the Sparkle Pony set. This is what I found from a post in March. http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,377131.msg1517349.html#msg1517349Prices for the ponies in that thread with their details in mind. Twinkler - $12 + $12 for ribbon Star Dancer - $10 + $22 for the ribbon Napper - $14-15 + $15 for the ribbon

very very carefully comb from the tips up a little at a time and try to hold the natural curl while combing over a finger, never pull straight!
Very important technique. Do not start from the base of the hair. Start from the tips (the end) and work slowly back towards the base. If you start from the base the tangles will just get worse and can result in strands being pulled completely out and or damaging the strands themselves.

I used Retr0Bright Gel http://www.retr0bright.com/use.html on one side of mine as a test and got some results after 4-5 hours. It was originally developed to de-yellow ABS plastic in computer cases and stuff like that. I've seen it used on computer cases, transformer toys, and even someone's storm trooper helmet. I made a gel and painted it on her body while avoiding the eyes and hair. It didn't hurt the symbol paint at all. So far I can't see any weirdness or damage to her. (I would not let it touch twinkle eyes or glittery symbols, I doubt it would hurt hair but to be safe I'd avoid that as well.) Here's the shortcut to the DYI section. http://www.retr0bright.com/make.html

You need to saturate them with a boatload of water & conditioner to give the hair slip. Don't rinse at this point. I'd then finger detangle and when that looks reasonable then I'd use a comb. When you feel like you've gotten all the tangles out immediately reform the curls. I still wouldn't rinse yet. Do it in small sections. Once all of the hair is detangled and you've gotten the curls to reform I'd then support the hair in your palm and rinse the hair through your fingers so that the curls don't unform. Then just squeeze the water out with that hand, do not towl dry. And like a previous post said - cold water.

I ADORE King's Quest. I played up to 7, #8 is dead to me. The music is awesome and the loading-mouse crown is the best thing ever. I think my favorite was 5 since the graphics, music, and voice!!! were at an amazing quality for the time. So many funny things in that one and so many ways to get totally stuck with no hope. Did you see the remake versions of the first 3? Epic. You can find them here: http://www.agdinteractive.com/games/games.html. So great and they are slightly different from the originals but close enough that they feel the same. As far as I know the 4th remake is just stuck and at this point I have no hope of it ever being finished.

Its not the oxi that causes the tail rust...its exposure to water so how long you would allow to soak would make no difference as long as any water got to the washer. If you are going to do a full soak, I would advise you to remove the tail, washer and clamp; I find it is better to keep them as dry as possible that way you dont run the risk of rust developing in the future.
Agreed. I always open up the pony and remove the tail for oxyclean soaks. I let me ponies soak for a long time sometimes. I start off with boiling water and then let the water cool down a little because I've had oxyclean volcanoes in my kitchen a couple times if I put the oxyclean strait in after I heat up the water. Then I let the pony have a nice long soak. I've made many a pony-stew. I've gotten some funny looks if people come over while I've got the pony-oxyclean-pot going, as if it's morbid or something to have decapitated ponies floating around in a stew pot. If I can find my photo of this I'll post it. And as was mentioned before, don't oxyclean-soak ponies with glittery symbols or so-softs (unless you want to begin the deflocking process). Also, I don't remember, does oxyclean mess with the coating on TEs or the jewel/metal looking symbols on princess ponies?
