Pony Corral / Re: Is Collecting Who We Are Or What We Do?
« on: July 19, 2013, 07:30:37 PM »
I have been on this forum now for a few months and have been a toy collector most my life and I was just wondering if collecting is something we do or has it become WHO we are......If I had to answer this I would have to say its who I am....im big dave the toy guy all my family and friends know this and I am very very proud....when I go anywhere I always have an eye out for toys even when I go on vacation im like YAY a new place to hunt lol......and I just wanted to know if anyone else on here felt the same way or something similar let me know

I would say it is a big part of who I am, as well as what I do. I love when I go to a thrift shops or hunting online and find a toy or plush that I grew up with,or a toy that just strikes my fancy.  Don't get me wrong I collect other nick nacks, fantasy as well as just odd objects, but I get a big kick out of finding something I grew up with, I think warm fuzzy childhood feelings play a big part in that as well as the fact that I like drawing cartoons and collecting toys help keep me in that toony frame of mind when I draw :). That's just me though, I cannot say I am only a collector of one certain thing, when I like or collect many others. I just simply love collecting, and I love it when I come across someone else or a big group(like the arena's) that get what I am talking about. It is a wonderful feeling to know that there are other's out there like myself that get the joys of collecting. :) Wow I have rambled on more than I normally would have lol, in general I'd say collecting plays a part in both, as who I am and what I do.:penguin:

First off I want to say a big thank you to dxgirly, if I had not have looked here I wouldn't have known to look for clear bubblebutt,so thank you, Big Huggs!!  So far amazon is telling me when to expect bubblebutts arrivel,so I am going to take that as a good sign that I will get the clear version of her. From what I can tell of the pictures the clear version is pretty cool looking. I will take photos and show them if wanted. Thanks again dxgirly, it was very nice of you to post what you did, and much apriciated.

Ok,I was just wondering because on the site it has bubble butt for two different prices although one wasn't glittery they both where normal in the pics. I thought there might have been a difference in size maybe that's why I asked although if one is glittery that would explain the price difference.. Guess someone forgot to put the right photo up... Anyhow thanks for the replies. :)

Love the wild poofy wind blown look on the second RD and also the elegant and silky smooth look on the others, they are just awesome! Thanks a lot for posting that tutorial it looks really helpful :D. If you don't mind my asking was the rehairing part hard or just time consuming or a little of both?

Pony Corral / Re: Am I the only one?
« on: July 06, 2013, 05:05:35 PM »
To echo Twilight Pink no your not the only one, and even though I have favorites, I could never just have one fav. I could never really go along with the idea that so-in-so is the best because to me each pony has a unique quality that the other doesn't have and that uniqueness is what makes each of them awesome just in their own way. Because while one may not be able to do what another one does that pony still has their own unique talent that makes him/her special.. I hope that made sense because I had it in my head good but not sure if I have it typed right lol...

***Rolls around in purple pony awesomeness*** loving everyone's photos! Purple is one of my fav. colors especially when combined with blue.. Here are my girls and even though they say Sunny Bunch is pink on My Little Wiki and even looks it in the photo I just now realised >_< in person she seems more of a purple pink so I hope that still counts  ^.^

Breathtakingly beautiful! You did an amazing job! It always impresses me how people can draw their designs so well on the curvy parts of the pony. I do good just to get a design to look decent on the more flatter part of the flank side >_<
