Hey, thanks so much for the support, everyone! Unfortunately I didn't become a finalist, but those that did really deserved it. I'll just have to keep entering contests--it's good practice.
Here are the finalists--go admire them!

Wow, she's stunning! I love wolves, and although I've never been a huge fan of that pose, I love it for her. Almost looks like she's howling. Great job on the gradient and stars.

Ohmygosh, Disney Pixar ponies! Two childhood favorites in one. I would totally join if I was a regular customizer, but alas, I have no time. Have fun, everyone! I can't wait to see this swap's results.

I know I've already suggested one, and I know she's a pegasus, but could you do Princess Tiffany? She's one of my favorite G1s, and you don't have to add wings if you don't want to. I can just pretend they're hidden by her hair.

That's a shame...does anyone else have tips, especially for what to do with Megan?

Is there a way I can defrizz G1 hair while keeping most of the original curl? I know boiling is the most tried and true method, but I wasn't sure what it would do to original curls.
Also, I have a Megan doll who is in lovely shape but for a chewed foot and ridiculously frizzy hair. Can the pony methods for defrizzing be used on her hair, too? Or is it another blend that should be treated differently?
Thanks!

Wow, I missed a whole month! Life has been busy, and I'll be off and on the Arena this summer. Let's get July's appreciation started a few days early!
July is So-Soft Appreciation Month!

I originally came up with the idea to do G3 So-Soft babies this month, but decided to extend it to G1 So-Softs as well, since I know there are some collectors who aren't fans of their flocking.
Personally, I never was a fan of the G3 baby So-Softs or G3.5 Newborn Cuties (even though they're technically not soft), but have always loved G1 SS ponies. I'm going to try to appreciate my SS babies more this month; maybe I'll put them in a more visible place than behind all my other G3s.
If you already adore G1 So-Softs, great! Just challenge yourself to appreciate the G3 babies more. If you already love those, try appreciating the G1s instead. As always, if you happen to already love all the ponies for this month, just make up a personal challenge for yourself to be more positive about all generations of MLP!

I'd say that the Euro McDonald's one (dark blue with sun) is a little more sought after in the US than the rest you have. Also, I think Baby Keen Bean (the last you have listed) is more uncommon than most, but still not worth a lot. I'm not an expert, though, so it's hard to say what they'll sell for in today's market. I think most common G3s at this point go for $5 and under; some for $7 or so. It really depends on who you're selling them to and what they're willing to pay. I don't have Keen Bean, and if I was buying ponies now would be interested in her. You'll just have to ask around. Good luck!

Aaah, these are so cute! Salty's saved to my pictures.
May I please have one of Woodchip? Thanks!
Pony name: Woodchip Earth / Unicorn: earth Freckles / Blush / Neither: blush. I don't want it to stand out too much (manly blush LOL); maybe you could just lower the layer transparency a little? Bandana colour: red (like the truck in his symbol) Reference picture: right here!
