Oh wow, I didn't know that about the cutie marks. It is so nice to know that there are other collectors out there that are as enamored with these girls as I am! I agree, they are currently my favorite ponies and the only G4s that I'm actively collecting at the moment.

Please don't get me wrong, I think it's great that you share your hobby now with your husband - but he has never ever before expressed that he likes MLP, too? Even though you are a fan/collector and not making a secret out of it?

No not exactly. He's always gone shopping with me for ponies and watched the cartoons with me and even helped me customize; but I always thought that he was just supporting me in my hobby. I didn't realize that he actually considered himself to be a fan, too.

hathorcat, I think you're right. He seems to prefer G4 over past generations. He loves FiM and the fact that male ponies are gaining popularity and becoming more readily available.

So we went to Hot Topic tonight to pick up some pony items and I see my husband looking at these men's cell phone wallets with DJ Pon-3 on them. I walk over to him and he tells me how cool he thinks the wallet is. I say, "Those are men's wallets."
He responds, "I know. I like it."
I say, "You would get a pony wallet for yourself?"
And he replies, "Yeah, I'm a pony fan, too."
Oooohhh it's so awesome!! lol You learn something new about your spouse everyday I guess. No matter how long you've been married or how well you know them; one day they pop up and announce that they've been a brony all these years. hehehe So we're collecting together now! ^_^ Eeeee!!!

Hey, Arena!

I know it's been a very long time since I've posted anything here. I fell into some pretty rough times in my life and took a few years off from collecting or customizing. But I am back in the saddle (pun intended) and I just finished my first custom in over two years. (I actually started this custom two years ago and just recently completed it. So it kind of symbolizes the start and end of difficulties for me.)
Her name is Vicki Victoria Rose and she is based on Victorian-era steampunk.


I have several new ponies in the works, so hopefully I'll have more customs to share soon.
