These are really cool. I would imagine the symbols on some of them being more complicated than their tiny counterparts. Then again alot of full-size ponies have pretty simple symbols so maybe it is better this way. Either way it is super cool to see them big. I'm looking forward to seeing more. You should braid the first ones hair just like the toy just to see how it looks. I'd love to see that.

I love sugar sprinkles! The others are all pretty cool too. I like the armored one to. He would make a neat pony. I like Caesar just 'cause I want a zebra pony. I'd rather have Zecora though. The Egyptian one would be pretty sweet.

Are you talking in Australian currency? I am not familiar with the exchange rate. You might be have to charge a lower amount if you are inexperienced, but then some people might be willing to pay more for a good cause. I don't know. Just make sure you actually make money for the shelter. If you spend $20 on tons of paint and supplies and only make $20 total you might as well just donate $20. If you think you can make more I'd say go for it.

I'll check my source image I based her off of. Do you mean the back of the neck? I want her to look like she could walk out of the cartoon. I based her off of a pic of Rarity. Rarity's hair is almost always on her display side so it was covering up part of her neck, that could be the part that looks a little off. If you could show me an example of what you mean, that would be super.

Sad, and why wouldn't it be true? I don't want to believe it, but there are worse things that have happened. Like people defacing some famous work of art because they were trying to "fix it". I've heard of things like this happening. I would rather these things have never happened, but they do. Don't get mad at the person posting.
The mom could have donated the toys to good will and some kid would have gotten her and done similarly. Painted her with nail polish and lipstick and cut her hair. It is devastating to see this kind of thing first hand, especially when the person acts like it is no big deal. Of course they will defend their actions, especially if it is an immature 17 year old who didn't do their research. I'm glad this sort of thing does not happen more often. It is sad when it does happen. Hopefully the rising popularity of ponies will actually bring some more great 80's ponies out of hiding and actually into the loving hands of expectant collectors.
