SDCC exclusives aren't that hard to come by, IF you're on top of it when they are released.  The first year exclusive was on Justice's website for awhile after the con, and Deadfast Ghoulia was available on Mattel's (I think) website for awhile too.  Just check here daily after the con and someone will post something.  The people here are just so great.  Always trying to help each other out.  Never wanted SDCC Frankie, but had plenty of time to grab her if I had.  I've never had a difficult time getting SDCC exclusives, just because of this website alone.  SDCC is the only doll I do not have (as I collect them all) and I'm fine with that as she is a variant.

Also:  That "5 a day" website calls the fairy tale dolls "Collector quality" and that scares me!  They all are collector quality, IMO, but they've never been called that before.  I hope these aren't going to be more expensive then any other releases

At least the new Killer Style dolls have new hair and make-up unlike the old Killer Style ones that had re-used dolls.  I'm just wondering what changes, if any, there are to the fashions.  Also, I'm soooo glad they decided to make a color SS Frankie.  I'm not bothered at all buy the SS 5 pack.  I NEED a colored Frankie and there are 2 brand new dolls included.  Also the SS Lala I have should have never made it out of the factory.  She has no hairline plugs between the back of her left ear, to the middle of the back of her head.  Don't know why I kept her, but I'll have a new one soon enough    Plus, I could never get SS Ghoulia's hair just right.  So I get to start over on this one.  It's nothing but win for me!

Well, I guess I have to get Lala's car now.  Why is Mattel making me buy all this stuff I don't want, just for a doll?  I'm telling you these people are brillant!  Because I had to have every doll, (wasn't even a question.  Right from the start.  All or nothing.) I decided not to buy playsets.  Who has the room?  Then they started releasing dolls only available w/playsets, so there went that plan.  Lala's car was the only thing I didn't have to buy.  For awhile I wasn't gonna buy Ghoulia's Scooter either, but I guess I can thank TRU for screwing that up too.  Oh well.  More stuff to love.  I knew right away that MH would be the death of bank account    BTW:  I am not so patiently waiting for more Classroom dolls.  I will not feel whole until I have that Drama Lala!

I'm more excited about the fairy tale dolls than I am about anything that's upcoming (besides the new Sig. dolls, of course.)  I've been hoping Mattel would give Clawdeen a different haircolor for a change.  Purple works so well for her, and I love it, but I always look forward to what crazy hair she'll pull off next.  It looks to me like she'll have some red this go around.  LOVE it.

Yup!  That makes me sad too.  Sometimes I wonder if it's better to live somewhere with a thousand stores to drive around to, going home with nothing, or living around 2 or 3 stores.  I could literally shop all day, driving all around south east Mich. and come home empty handed.  Luckily, there are some awesome, generous, thoughtful people here willing to help.  I only wish I could return the favor.

No:( The Micheals I frequent is the one on Gratiot, next to the other TRU:)  Just a bit more convenient.  I'll keep you in mind when I find extra dolls, but as I'm sure you know, there isn't much to go around in these parts

aellos:  Thanks to you (and another member here) all I need are the werewolf sisters to complete my obsessive MH collection!  I swear I had just visited the Madison Heights TRU and they did NOT have the werecat twins.  Then I read a post from you that said they were there, so I decided to check AGAIN.  I had to wait until after I got out of work though, and I was sure by then they would be gone.  But they had one set left.  And they are purrfect    So thanks for the heads up.  I guess you and I are going to be competing for MH dolls, huh? :P

For those of you who have found Rochelle:  How much green-blue does your doll have in her hair?  Mine has a stripe on either side of her bangs and one straight down her back.  Oh, and her bangs are saturated with the blue-green.  So in other words: Not much.  Her artwork has about 50/50.  I think I'd like one with more color.  Do you think I could find one? Or does everyone have the same sort of haircolor as I have?

Hannaliten:  Would it be too much to ask that you keep an eye out for an extra Sig. Jackson for me too?  You've already got a package to send out to me, and a Jackson would be a real load off my mind.

I just got home from an all morning shopping trip.  Jackson's really on my mind.  People keep comparing his availablity to Gil's and it's making me panic.  So I visited 7 stores looking for anything new (Rochelle, Jackson, or the 2 newest store exclusives) and nothing.  Then I decided to pick up some paint to fix up my Clawd's side burns, thinking at least my shopping trip wouldn't be a total loss, and they were out of just about all the brand of paint I use.  Almost felt like I was looking at a MH section   Really upset now, and a headache to add to the mix, I decided it was time to give up and go home.  On the way, I made a point to stop at TRU and they had Rochelle, and a Sig Abbey (that I've been hunting down since last June.)  I payed the price (24.99) cuz I'm so dead tired  ;)  of circling half of Michigan looking for these things.  I used to think "wait until they've been out a while and they'll be easier to find" but then I think "what if had waited on Gil.  And you almost missed Abbey too, if they hadn't re-released her."  The Rochelle I got has a bad eye as well.  But at this point I don't care.  It's not like I'm gonna have her an inch away from my face all the time.  I'll never even notice.  On a side note, at Walmart they had a clip-strip of sunglasses that were replicas of the Gloom Beach ones the girls have (no Jackson ones :( )  I wanted to get one of each, but I didn't.  I couldn't even try them on, I was so embarassed about how excited I was about the stupid things

Hmmmm....... Very interested in Toralei and Frankie, but my husband probably wouldn't like me buying doubles (doesn't like me buying ANY as it is  )  My birthday is this month though, so I could talk him into it if I tried.  Thing is, I have some pending purchases, so I'm just gonna have to wait.  But yeah, very interested.

Has their hair been washed out, or are they straight out of the box mint?  If washed, how are Toralei's stripes?  Thinking about buying a couple of these girls (again  ) so I can keep their hair mint. I wash all my dolls' hair, and I probably shouldn't have when it came to Toralei, and Sweet 1600 Frankie.  Oh well.  Live and learn :)

I had no idea you could buy flocking.  Never too old to learn new things, I guess ;)

Help!  I was rinsing the glue out of my Sweet 1600 Clawd's hair and his flocked side burns (for the most part) rinsed right off too!  So, anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?  I'd like to get it as close to mint as possible, but I'm leaning towards paint.  I remember Pickle saying he boiled his off when he was trying to get glasses dents off of his Clawd's face.  I checked his pics and he looks fine.  I wonder what he did to fix it?

Thanks, Trinity.  I've been keeping them MIB.  Might as well bust 'em open now
