Autumn's my favourite. Blue skies, spectacular colours, a peak time for bird-watching, & the relief of cooler temperatures after the unbearable summer heat. x_x Our sunsets are always the most beautiful in September & October. I also LOVE it when the clocks go forward; many people think I'm nuts, but I've always loved that period when it gets dark ridiculously early. It just feels so cosy & appealing to me. Winter's my second favourite, but now it's almost tied with Spring: birdsong at its peak, seeing the first migrant species arriving, the breeding season, primroses, bluebells & all the other beautiful flowers bursting into life, wild garlic growing in the woods. I heard the first Chiffchaff yesterday & it's put me in such a good mood. I wouldn't say I hate summer, but I dread the heatwaves every year. I'd much rather be too cold than too hot. Plus it's the quietest time of year for birding, & the busiest & noisiest for people.

I certainly wouldn't pass her up if I found her, but she's not one I'm actively seeking out. Her colours are very appealing & that little chick symbol is adorable. Something about her pose looks catlike to me.

I love these kinds of threads! Here are some photos I've taken over the years. Snapping ponies outdoors is really fun, I keep meaning to take more of my G1s out & pose them in little scenes. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

I love those colours, but the name's a little odd. I always assumed she was female, was she marketed as a male?

She's my lone G1 baby, & the only G1 I've ever found in a charity shop. I was so thrilled when I spotted her in a bag of fakies; I brought her home & cleaned her up, now she sits in pride of place on my desk. I adore her colours & design.

I'll go with G1s here. In no particular order: 1. Skippity Doo: Bizarre name, but her colour scheme is gorgeous, & who can resist a rearing pony? 2. TE Skyrocket: I've always loved her colours, but I can see how they might not be to everyone's taste. 3. Scrumptious: That shade of green is so refreshing against her white body. 4. Sunbeam: Beautiful colour scheme, but I know her pose isn't very popular. The other three unicorns in her set are so well-loved, the poor girl always seems to be left out. :< 5: Sparkler: Another pretty unicorn who doesn't seem to get mentioned much. 6: Magic Hat: Lovely design. 7: Sweet Pop: There's something really appealing about that vibrant shade of blue. 8: Cherries Jubilee: Monochrome ponies often tend to be overlooked, & her pose is one of the more awkward ones. But she's very pretty & those curls are snazzy. 9: Sundance: Poor girl always got saddled with Megan, but she's such a cutie in that shy pose, & her simple design works really nicely. 10: Sunlight: I've always had a soft spot for her. That subtle shade of blue/aqua looks great against her rainbow hair. I could write an entire essay on the many G2 ponies that are overlooked, but that's a story for another day.

The Thing's one of my favourites too! Give me old-school special effects over CGI any day of the week. Also on my list are The Fly (1986 remake), Black Christmas (1974 original), Se7en, Psycho & Bambi. Spot the odd one out.

She's one of my favourite childhood ponies. I lost my original Crystal years ago, & re-bought her as an adult collector. Her colour scheme's so quirky & I love her symbol. I still need her magician's hat back though.

The Eyelash Princesses. G3 Green Apple having an all-pink colour scheme. The sight of her makes me want to facepalm. I totally agree about the lack of G3 unicorns & Pegasus ponies. As soon as the new line appeared, I was wondering where the heck they were. Then they were finally produced years later when I'd temporarily 'outgrown' MLP.

A partially deflocked Twist has been standing on my bathroom counter for at least two years... My family just accept it as normality now. I really want to finish her one day, but I honestly forget that she's there.

Apple pie, hands down. One of my favourite foods of all time. Especially with blackberries added. I'm still kicking myself for not trying it when I was a kid. My aunt was famous in the family for her home-made apple pie with custard. I never got to taste it.

I have actually found Mimic at a car boot sale here before, which was weird. I don't know how she got here, but she cost £1. I don't know where she lives now though...I sold her on but can't remember where or who to...
I've had several wistful dreams where this scenario has happened. Gorgeous photos, everyone! I certainly wouldn't mind getting this girl after chasing down my high priority ponies.

I don't collect G4, but it's great to see that Hasbro's actually putting some thought into the toyline again. Let's just hope they've stepped up their appalling quality control as well...

I'm in love with Mistletoe; her colour scheme & pose really appeal to me. & her little fluffy hat! I keep telling myself I'll snap her up this year as a Christmas present to myself, but I still haven't gotten around to it. Baby Sweet Snowflake is as cute as a button too. ^-^

She would have looked snazzy with red & white streaked hair. Pity Hasbro tends to chicken out with 'non-girly' colours.
