Off Topic / Re: Gift for a new Mum with C Section!

If you do the nighty - sleeveless and loose fitting so that she can just pull the strap down to nurse, Not wiggle the whole nighty up to her neck.
A Bassinet on wheels. Not having to get up out of bed to nurse was the best thing for my C-section.
A video monitor so that she doesn't have to go up and down the stairs every time the baby makes a noise.
Disposable cutlery, plates, glasses. Doing dishes those first few weeks post C is painful.
If you are a good cook - frozen casseroles in tin dishes that can just pop in the oven and bake.

A lot of collectors use IKEA "Billy" bookcases with glass doors. They come in a variety of sizes, colors and door options.
If I had the space, that's what I`d get.

I`d condition it, run a comb through it while wet and never brush her hair again lol.

I once bought a pony lot off kijiji with a flutter pony with both wings intact, I didn't know to ask for added padding for her wings. When she arrived she had lost one wing and the second was barely attached by a sliver. Even with the gentlest handling the second wing fell off too. There was also a G1 diamond ring that was intact in the picture and arrived broken .  >_<

She is in lovely condition.
She notoriously has REALLY bad hair. It is dry, frizzy, mats easily and melts at a much lower temperature than normal pony hair. I`ve heard it called "AVON hair?"
I think I have 6 of her and they all have horrible hair.

Have you figured out who made the custom?

Pony Corral / Re: What would you do for your grail pony?
« on: January 29, 2017, 05:43:48 PM »

I don't really like the idea of fighting other people for a pony. I mean, it's a pony. It's amazing, but it's not worth hurting other people over. And as I think Tulips said, nobody can say they deserve a particular pony more than anyone else.

No one here would actually hurt anyone or fight over a pony in real life. We are just joking around.
In real life the worst that would happen is a bidding war.
Hahaha maturity went out the window when there is a grail at stake!

So basically your saying we'd turn into kindergarten gladiators?

I`ve always wanted to try those giant Q-tips, or those blow-up sumo suits  :pillow:

I`d yell dibs and hip check anyone who grabbed her. I`m an ex bull-riding Canadian Cowgirl, 200+lbs. I can hip-check a linebacker across the room.

However I doubt anyone would fight over my grail.

Pony Corral / Re: Which ponies do you find hard to sell?
« on: January 23, 2017, 06:18:35 PM »
G3's are ridiculously hard to sell. I have some I need to re-home but i am just thinking about donating them.

Before you go donate them, maybe try posting a thread on the arena for those of us who do really love them? Maybe offer them for super cheap or free if we pay shipping that way you know they're going to a good home.

I personally love G3 and would hate for them to wind up going to a place that wouldn't love them

Same! I second this :)
I third this

Pony Corral / Re: Do You Ever Have Dreams About MLP?

Had a dream last night that I met a guy who was a vintage toy collector who was trying to preserve toys by storing them in a warehouse sized cooler/fridge. He had bins and bins full of ponys and I was trying to convince him to sell me some .

I`m so confused  .
Are nasty microbes eating my ponies? Or is the plastic/vinyl breaking down?
Do I boil them for 10 min like baby bottles to kill the microbes?
Soak them in H2O2 to kill the microbes?
Or are those treatments going to speed up the break down process?
"Oh the horror, the horror..."

My first thought was a mean sibling.

I vote for the jewel eye in just the one eye like the guy in pirates of the Caribbean, with a black sparkly eyepatch that you can flip up. And a tiny tri-corn hat with an ity bitty feather in it.
She lost her eye in a duel and used some of her treasure to replace it. ARGH!  ;)

My TRU is now stocking the reboot ones alongside Hair-bow ponies and wave 2 pearly pinkie. I don't think they are getting them in
