I would be leaving a negative, not a neutral. They screwed up on packaging a several hundred dollar machine, and outright refuse to make things right.

Definitely!  Liquid sloshing around in your package is NOT cool.  In fact I think it violates postal standards... shipping liquids requires special handling, which clearly they did not do.  And they are refusing to provide customer service?  Most definitely a negative!

That actually didnt even dawn on me, but you are right.

To answer an earlie question, they deal exclusively with sewing machines and vaccumes.

I heard back from them. They are not going to do anything to make it up, they will not take responsibility for the poor packaging, and  basically said the only thing they will offer is an apology.
I made sure not to mention feedback at all, not in my first message or the reply I sent. I will give them till tonight to reply, and then I will leave feedback. I'm just surprised with how good they reputation is that they refuse to work with me. I'm wondering if this is the first issue they have encountered, and dont know how to properly handle it.
I really dont like leaving anything other than good feedback. I take this seriously. But with their attitude and unwillingness to help, I cannot justify leaving them positive feedback.

Heard back again. Same attitude. They say this is their first time with an unhappy customer, and by their handeling of the situation, it shows it is their first time. They may have a good reputation for their customer service in happy customer situations, but when it comes to a customer that is unhappy they shut off and refuse to be helpful. Everything is of course UPS fault. And now because they are a power seller I have to wait a week to leave neutral feedback.

This is non pony related. I bought a sewing machine off ebay. The seller has 100% positive feedback, and is a power seller. Shippig was super fast, and the machine is in very good condition. The machine was not packaged well. Its a 40lb machine, and the box had a tiny strip of tape on the bottom. The main problem I have is how they packaged the sewing machine oiler. All accessories were thrown into a zip lock bag, and it seemed they attempted to package the oiler in a separate zip lock bag, but it wasnt sealed, and the cap on the oiler wasnt properly secured, so all the oil leaked out onto the accessories, and into part of the box. I paid quite a bit for this machine, and the oil for this brand is not cheap to buy, so I'm a little annoyed by all this. I messaged the seller, told them what happened and if there is something they can do to make it up. I havent heard back from them, which is odd, because they were really quick to reply when I was asking questions about the machine.
So, on the chance that they either do not reply, how many days should a person wait to leave neutral feedback. I'm not taking this lightly, they have good feedback, so I want to work with them. I will leave a few more messages for them in the next two days if I dont hear anything back. But I spent close to $700 for the machine, $47 of which was for shipping. I feel that they should have packaged this thing  to perfection for that. The oil should have had the cap tightly secured, and even taped to prevent it leaking. Not thrown in a bag unsecured.
Thanks!

Pony Corral / How bad is pin dot?
« on: August 08, 2016, 03:41:50 PM »
I've been looking to buy G1 Bubblefish for a while now. I found one last week on ebay, and she seemed to be in good condition. Description stated that she was in very good condition, only a little wear. I saw what appeared to be surface dirt on the pictures, which I wasnt worried about, I can clean that. Nothing in the listing said she had pin dot or cancer. I think I paid about $24 for her. She areived today, and I did a full inspection. Her hair is in good condition, it looks like she may have had a slight trim, but nothing major. Moving on to the surface dirt. Much to my disappointment, its not serface dirt. Its pin dot, and what looks like a few cancer spots. Now my problem is that I do now want to return her. I have had a really hard time finding one with good hair and a complete symbol. I have contacted the seller and told her what I found and asked for a partial refund. My question is how bad is pin dot, and will it spread. I've never had a pony have this before.
Thanks!

I'm sorry, but you cannot play the victim card in this situation, its only making you sound worse. You were not scammed by a seller. Any flaws were shown clearly on the photos. You received the pony at a discount, you praised said pony, and then you even styled the hair. Once you styled the hair that pony is yours. I think thats where people are having an issue. You styled it and then decided it wasnt perfecr enough, you saw a better one on ebay, and rather than being patient and doing the RIGHT thing and waiting for a responce from the seller, you filed a false chargeback. So you have no right to be playing victim and calling comments on the other thread file. You brought this on yourself by being a bad buyer.

Off Topic / Sewing Machine Help
« on: August 02, 2016, 12:33:30 AM »
I am in the market to buy a new sewing machine. Its been years since I last bought one, and I forgot how over whelming it can be. I would like a table top sewing machine, nothing fancy, that can go through heavy fabric like denim and soft leather. Any ideas for a good machine?
I should mention I would like to keep it around $700.

Wanted! / G1 Bubble Fish and Sweet Pocket
« on: July 18, 2016, 08:55:41 PM »
I am looking for both Bubble Fish and Sweet pocket to complete my collection. I am a bit picky when it comes to these two ponies. Symbols need to be intact and complete with charm, no cancer or regrind, and I would also like for the hair to be in good condition, no frizzy or faded hair.
Sorry for being so picky, lol.

The Dollhouse / DC Superhero Girls Comic Con exclusive?
« on: July 13, 2016, 07:43:46 AM »
So I just saw a picture of the Katana Superhero Girls doll that will be the Sdcc exclusive. I'm in awe of how awesome she looks. Does anyone know if, like Hasbro, Mattel will be releasing a few for sale online after the convention? I really want one, but would hate to pay double the price on ebay.

I think the last food exclusive they had was Muffin pony. I jumped on getting her the second she was released on the hasbro store. I've looked forward to seeing what the exclusive is every year since, but have passed on each of them. They need to hire a new creative team....

Arts & Crafts Corral / Any pokemon plushie makers?
« on: June 28, 2016, 02:17:03 PM »
I'm trying to find someone that makes pokemon plushies? My boyfriend would really like a Gardevoir plush, about 50 to 60cms in size.
Thanks!

Thanks guys for the support!
Luckily, they agreed to refund me. I shipped the ring back today with a tracking number.

I think sometimes if it seems too good to be true... it probably is.

A lot of Chinese recasters use photos stolen from the original company/artist to sell their recasts/copies.

I'm a little surprised that this seller is actually located in Texas. I did alert the website that sells the actual ring that someone was using their photo. They emailed back asking for pictures of the ring I got, along with a link to the listing on ebay.

Last month I ordered a Triple Goddess ring off ebay. I had been wanting on for over a year, and finally found one in a style I liked. I was a little worried about their feedback, as it was 97% positive, and usually I dont go under 99%. But the negative feedback they had was due to slow shipping and not their product quality, so I chanced it. Big mistake. The ring took almost a month to be shipped. I understand that its a custom made item, but this was a very long time I thought. Once they shipped it the tracking number was either entered in wrong or was fake because it didnt work.
Finally receive the item today. The ring looks barely anything like the once pictured. The one pictured had a lot of detail to it, and looked like a very good quality. The one I received looks like a very cheap knockoff. Hardly any detail, the band is way thicker than the ring pictured, and having worked in a jewelry store and having made jewelry in the past, this does not look like sterling silver like it says in the description. It looks and feels like some find of base metal. I was kind of crushed by this actually, I was looking so forward to finally having the ring I wanted.
After doing some research, I also found that the picture they are using for the ring was stolen from a website that sells the ring pictured.
This is mainly a rant right now. I contacted the seller. I kept it civil, but let them know I was not happy and wanted to return the ring for a full refund. I attached pictures of the ring I received to the request as well.
