Oregon is up to 5 deaths and 161 confirmed cases as of Sunday morning. The governor has suspended any evictions due to the virus affecting people's ability to pay rent.
I am at on day 5 of at home quarantine. I feel better each day but the rain has made my lungs more sensitive. I really hope I will be ok by the end of the week.

I am on day 3 of at-home quarantine. I feel ok, but the chest tightness persists. I still am unable to walk very much without having shortness of breath. My work (veterinary hospital) has said that they do not want me back until I have gone 72 hours past the end of symptoms. I have no idea how long that will be.
There are rumours that Oregon will be following California's recommendations of a stay-at-home order on Monday. Not sure if it is just a rumour or not but I would not be surprised if it happens. I feel like most people in my area are practicing good common sense. My mom said that the grocery stores are the cleanest she has ever seen and people are making sure to practice good social distancing.
I wish the best for you and hope you feel better very soon! I used to work in the veterinary field too and I do think think society can ever truly repay those who cannot stay home during this time.
Thank you so much! Before I was sent home, we were working so hard and people were still giving us grief because of the new regulations. It makes it difficult to come to work sometimes because of people, never the animals.

I swear like a sailor. And seeing how both my father and brother were actual sailors I think I am in good company! At work I have a lot of swear-replacements : Jiminy Crickets, Cheese and Crackers, and Frick n' Frack being some of my more commonly used ones.

The only Big Brother I have is Slugger. I got him for $15 but he had a buzz cut and so I am going to have to rehair him. Not a bad trade off in my opinion, as his symbol looks great and he has no mold.

I have all chocolate-type snacks in the house and I am really craving some fruit snacks.

I would like to have her someday. I really like the colour combination and I am a sucker for the sitting ponies.

Another "no thanks" for me. The price tag is the main reason.

Well, I am staying at my home through the weekend. I am too young to get tested, but the doctor said to be cautious. She said I could possibly go back to work by the 23rd, but if my symptoms worsen I am to go physically go to the doctor for treatment/medication. My chest has gotten tighter throughout the day, so I am not super hopeful that I will be back to work. Thankfully I have a full pantry and my pets have full food stores as well. I won't be able to see my horse through at least the weekend, however. Oregon has also closed the state parks to camping and groups.

I work in the veterinary field. We are currently no longer seeing anything but emergencies - all wellness/vaccine/routine surgeries are cancelled until further notice. We are not allowing clients into the clinic. We are taking histories over the phone and then bringing only the pet into the clinic from the parking lot. The owners then pay over the phone. We have 75 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Oregon with over 750 tests pending results.
I woke up with a cough/sore throat and when I called into work I was told a coworker is suspected of being Covid-19 positive and is in quarantine. I have a video appointment with the doctor this afternoon, so we will see how it goes.
I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm in Oregon too. I really hoping for you.
As for me, my family's biggest concern right now is preventing the neighbor from getting it. She is very old
Thank you. I am not so worried about myself, but I am worried about my parents. They are not young and they both have prior medical problems. I hope you and your neighbor are able to stay safe!

Cute, but I am not a fan of ladybugs and the price is just a double whammy in the "nope" factor.

I am currently caught up on Beastars. I am working on getting caught up on The Promised Neverland. And Berserk is back on hiatus, so I am patiently waiting for that to update again.
