I've been downsizing my collection recently and I have had some interest in this girl but I wondered if I could get any up-to-date pricing info on her?

I haven't seen any for sale lately and the last price check I can see is from 5 years ago

She's the open mouthed version, as you can see and she is in lovely condition!

Wondered if I could get an idea on how much she's going for these days?

I am contemplating selling mine and I am in the UK if that makes a difference.

She's in beautiful condition and very clean as she's always been covered up. She's been at the vodkas though so she's not very steady on her feet these days.

I am very out of the pony-loop recently and I have to shamefully admit that I have completely forgotten which websites to go to when looking up and IDing G1 pony accessories... I know there are some really brilliant ones out there

Any help would be gratefully appreciated, I am just attempting to put together my wantlist for the imminent pony fair so I'd better get my skates on!!

Price Check Archives / Giant Frilly Frocks - Price check?

Hi all,

I have toned down my collecting recently and I haven't been around much but I hope people might be able to give me an estimated price for this one?

She's the bigger version of the two and she's in really good condition, maybe with just a tiny bit of surface dirt. She has just become a literal clothes horse for me so unfortunately it's time for her to go.

Hopefully another UK collector might be interested in her as it's not too often you will find one of these over this side of the pond.

Obviously I know DJ as she was at the mlp fair too but what about this Twilight Sparkle? Was she an SDCC exclusive too? I must have missed her somewhere along the line...

Also I don't see her on Hasbro Toy Shop either so I'm guessing she sold out pretty quick!

Pony Corral / Fifty Shades of Posey!

No... I'm just kidding, only four!

I have a bit of a dilema. Whilst going through my double ponies I've come across four Poseys... but each of their symbols is a different shade!

I know there's debate as to whether they're variants or just different phases of fading but I just don't know whether to keep them all or just the one with the darkest symbol.

Do I need four Poseys? What do you think pony community?

Pony Corral / Anyone else put off buying high ticket ponies because....?

Recently I have a nice amount of money in my Paypal account from Ebay sales and I've been thinking about treating myself to one or two quite expensive G1 ponies for my collection as a present for finishing my degree.

But I'm scared to do so! If I go and buy a really minty, rare pony, I feel constantly in worry that they are going to develop some sort of fault while they are in my possession and become de-valued.

This happened to me a couple of months ago when I looked across my collection to find that both my Mimic and my Ice Crystal had developed small cancer spots since I'd introduced them to the herd. This was heartbreaking for me as they were both perfect when I got them.

I just don't want this to happen to a SERIOUSLY rare/expensive pony if I got one... and it's dissuading me from these lovely ponies...

Do these thoughts go through anyone elses mind? or should I just suck it up as part and parcel of collecting a vintage toy... I just don't know!

Pony Brag Arena / Surprising G1 finds at London MCM expo

So yesterday I was at the London Comic Con at the Excel Centre. We hadn't been in a few years so just decided to check it out. I had a really fun day and got to demo three games which I'm super excited about getting (Dynasty Warriors 8, Tales of Xillia and Deadpool). Getting on towards the end of the day I saw that Mare Play had a stall there selling G4s which was kinda cool... but something on the next stall along caught my eye instead... a small box of vintage ponies! They were priced at £6 each and were mostly very common and in baity condition so they had to stay there. All except two of the ponies and the guy was good enough to sell them to me for £6 the pair!

For £3 each... bargain! BPS is kinda grubby but she will clean up beautifully and even though it doesn't show in the picture she still has lovely pink hair!

Wanted! / Looking for Trolley and Brown My Pretty Pony

For Trolley (the 2006 fair pony) I don't mind if she's loose or MIP

For the My Pretty Pony I am looking for her either boxed or loose with accessories. I don't mind if it's the one with the white stripe on her face or without.

Trader & Shipping Support / UPDATED: Seller is ignoring (or hasn't seen) my request to combine postage

Hi all,
I won two slightly higher priced ponies on the 8th from the same Ebay seller, each charging £3.50 postage. After I won the two auctions I messaged the seller asking if she would combine postage for them (it should cost no more than £3 to ship them together I believe). After receiving no reply and seeing no combined postage as of yesterday, I messaged her again. Still no reply.

I know not that many days have passed since I won the ponies but I could have received them by now... The seller was selling a few other ponies at the same time so I would doubt that she's not seen the message. I am just worried that she's going to re-list the ponies if I don't pay soon as I really want them! I know I'm only worrying about £4ish but it's mildly annoying that she has not replied to my message.

Does anyone have any advice? Should I just put it down to experience and pay the full postage?

Off Topic / US members: Can you get to a Claire's Accessories?

Hi all,
Last June when I was in Florida for a few weeks I managed to buy myself a couple of pencil eyeliners from Claire's Accessories over there... and I've fallen in love with them, they are absolutely perfect and make my eyes look great! I'm nearly running out now though and I was just wondering if anyone who lives near a Claire's would be able to pick me up some more? Obviously I would pay you for your troubles!

The ones I'm looking for are a bit like this:

They are twistable, pencil eyeliners but they're chunkier than a normal pencil. I can't really remember what sort of price they were though...

If anyone could help me out finding these I will be eternally grateful

I wish Claire's over here sold them...
