I am a fellow collector with an excellent positive feedback history, so buy with confidence!  My collections and other ebay items are kept in a dimly lit room with dark curtains and some are kept in a closed cabinet to minimize or eliminate any fading.  Nearly all my items are New in box or were on Display Only and have Not been played with unless otherwise stated.  I always describe, as best I can, any flaws I see on open items, as well as take plenty of pictures for you to view. And as a collector, I understand the importance of using plenty of packaging materials to protect your items for safe shipment.

For the last 3 years, around my birthday, I have treated myself to a BJD.  And every year I end up spending more than the last year.    So I was looking last night, and fell in love with Aimerai's Sugary Wonderland "Weedy" doll.  And I thought she was so cute and couldn't get over how she looked kind of familiar to me and today it hit me!  She looks like Strawberry Shortcake!  Her full super rosey cheeks, tiny chin, and freckles on her cheeks & above her nose! Even her outfit is similar.  So that made me love her even more!  I ended up buying her full set!    She was also on sale at Mint on Card right now, $99 off!  So that was a bonus!  I bought the last full set that was on sale though.  Someone is selling her full set on ebay right now.  MOC does have nude Weedy's for sale still though and other Aimerai dolls on sale right now as well, if anyone is interested.

I've been wanting to buy one of the vintage remakes of SSC that have been floating around at Target and TRU but haven't yet because I hadn't figured out which set I wanted.  But now I kind of have a BJD of her!     I'll have to get her a SSC doll she can hold.  that would be so cute!   I also thought of buying her some pantaloons and geen & white striped stockings, (to match SSC) as well as red and white striped so those can match her striped bunny ears she comes with.

So is anyone else gone Hatchimal crazy?  I didn't know what these were until the weekend before last, when I was toy shopping with my kids.  And of course, when I finally decided I wanted one they all started disappearing!  Yesterday I managed to get my daughter and I one each.  Still need to get my hands on a draggle for my son.  They will be Christmas gifts for my kids but, I'm horrible, I didn't want to wait that long to open one myself so I'm opening mine on Saturday when I will be with my sister so she can watch too and I'm not letting my kids watch so it will still be a Christmas surprise for them to open their own for the first time.

Anyway so I was searching all over to try to see if anyone had found a code on the outside of the box so you could tell who is actually inside before you buy them.  Like they have with the blind bags.  Didn't find anything on the internet.  Has anyone else found any info like that online?

I did happen to see an "impression stamp" number pressed into the cardboard below the barcode.  (a pressed in number (not with ink) just like they have on the blind bags)  So I flipped over 5 boxes of the same color pengualas to look at all these numbers to see if they were all the same or if any were different.  4 were the same and one was different!!  So my collector instinct told me to go with the different number so that is the one I got.  Anyway I got the Teal/Pink speckled egg penguala and the pressed number on it below the barcode was : 60701AWS     That is the one I will be opening on Saturday.

Anyway, has anyone else opened any of these and still have the packaging so we can compare the "pressed in" numbers below the barcode and see if they are in fact codes to see which hatchimal is inside?  If you do tell us which color hatchimal you ended up with and what the code is below your barcode so we can get a list going.

Yay!  Photobucket's working for me now.  Here's the pics.  I'm hoping that the we can get enough codes from what everyone opens to figure out who's in the boxes before we buy.  (That is, if that is what the imprinted number is below the bar codes.  I'm assuming it is but I could be wrong.  If we find 3 different codes to the same "color scheme" set, within the same country, then I guess it's some other kind of code.)

I almost can not wait to open her until Saturday! but my sis wants to see....  so I guess I will wait.  I kinda want the teal and lime green? one more than the pink and teal but I like them both enough to be happy with either.

Here is a bit of information about how I clean my G1 ponies:
I wash most of the G1s unless they look like all they need is a wipe down and some spot checks.  I never submerse my ponies under water. And I do Not remove their heads to clean inside. I scrub them with a antibacterial hand soap and condition their hair before I brush it out. I may use magic earaser to remove resilient spots. I usually do a simple hair styling unless it is a pony with ringlets. Leaving the hair to curl for about 2 or 3 days makes nice long lasting curls. (for ringlets its more like a week or longer) And I do Not use leave-in-conditioners, hair sprays, or moose in pony hair. I think it leaves it stiff or sticky to the touch.

Not sure who else might be an Angelic Pretty, JouJou Dal doll fan but I thought I would let everyone know.  I am so excited that they are making more of her!  She sold out very quickly when she first came out.  Here her link if anyone wants to check her out.

I was thinking of going ahead and selling my vintage ponies on Etsy but my newer G3 ponies would still be sold on ebay.  So I wanted to kind of "advertise" that my vintage ponies were on etsy so the ebay viewers could look there too but since you can't put a link on an ebay listing anymore, I thought the only way they could find my stuff would be to search my etsy store name.  But I can't figure out how to search for a  store.  Or if you even can.  Anyone know how?  Thanks!!

I found these minies a few days ago at the Harker Hieghts, TX Target for $5 each.  They are about 6 inches tall.  They are the only 3 characters they had.  I want a Fluttershy.  Maybe they will make the other main 3 in the next wave.  Of course it would be nice if they made some that arn't the main 6!

  Has anyone else seen these?  Even internationally?  I didn't even know they existed until I saw them at the store.  They were quite a surprise!

I'm rather disapointed with Rainbow Dash's hair.  It's is missing red and green so it doesn't look quite like a rainbow and I'm not quite sure I like her wings.  They are made of a soft, stiff kind of foam board, with plush on either side.  And they don't stand up to well.  But at least they are only $5.
