I've been really surprised how all of the things I ordered for the holidays online came to me on time (or early) and in tact. I really can't believe my luck. I've had some mail mishaps before. One year I had a package from my mom accidentally delivered to an old neighbor who opened it and unwrapped all the presents before realizing it was for me. Another time I got a book in a box that was run over by the delivery truck. The box had tire marks on it and the book was very squished. I also had a pony shipped to me in a cracker box wrapped in newspaper. Against all odds the pony made it to me, it was just peeking out of the box a little.
Tell me about your mail luck!

We're having another staycation summer. I love to visit new places but traveling just isn't within our budget right now. Tell me about your country/state/city! Where would you take me and what would you show me if you were my tour guide? What fun things do you do where you live? I want to travel vicariously through you And if you can share pics, extra cookies for you!

I was excited to find this cute doll at Target after seeing online that she should be in stores now. She is with the other retro toys on an end cap. I have a couple of cell phone pics. Isn't she lovely? And smells so good! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

I got two of these today from series 1. They're by Blip Toys. They are so adorable and small. I got an ice skater kitty and one with the cutest hat. Looking at all the possible ones I really want the cupcake baker, the guitar player and the one with the glasses. Anyone else seen these or gotten any?

Anyone been to this con before? It's in Salt Lake City. I was just wondering if a G1 fan would totally feel out of place there? I like G4 too but I wouldn't consider myself a brony.

I'd like to see SS Sundance with nice flocking. Show me yours! Mine has really thin and grubby flocking and all the ones I usually see on eBay are not much better. Is it possible to get a fluffy, white one? And how much would I have to pay?

I'm sure some have read about this study. They used ponies in it as well as other seventies and eighties toys and concluded that a large percentage has heavy metals that can leach out when the materials break down due to age and can be harmful to children. I know there's been discussion here about passing on G1 ponies to kids. This study has made me reconsider. What do you think? http://www.neha.org/news/release/january2015-vintage-toys.html

I have Cotton Candy with horribly rubbed eyes and Blossom that could use a little help. I know that most people use sharpies to fix them. But do you just do the black or do you try to match the colors on the other parts of the eye too? Has anyone found sharpie matches for those colors? Or if you have any other fixes, any help would be appreciated! Poor Cotton Candy is missing more than half of her eyes.

My 8 yo daughter got a 3ds for her birthday and has enjoyed playing Olaf's quest. She also has the G3 mlp ds game. She liked it but it was too easy. I need some suggestions! What game do you think wouldn't be too hard or too easy? Would pokemon be good? Which one? Any others? I'm totally clueless so I desperately need help!
