Hey guys! Has anyone seen Josiekat around? Or maybe know why she might not be online much? I've sent her a couple PMs, but even though she's been online since I sent them, it says they haven't been read.  (But she hasn't been online now since August 2nd, so I'm thinking maybe something happened IRL?) She asked to buy a pony from me two months ago, and there's been various delays as to why the money couldn't be sent. First she had the pony on hold for a couple weeks, and communication was great, but then she said her Paypal was messed up, so I said I wouldn't mind waiting another couple of weeks for her bank to clear it up, as I would be on vacation! But now I'm back from vacation, and I'm trying to get a hold of her, and apparently she's not around? Is she on vacation too, or sick, or something? If anyone has her on Facebook, please send her my way! I have a pony all packed up and ready to mail for her!  Thanks!

Haha, hopefully my topic is clear enough! I've seen eBay sellers put their shops 'on vacation' (which basically means you can still shop from them, except you are notified that the item won't be shipped until X date), but I've been poring through my eBay page, and I can't figure out how to do it!! Am I going to have to just cancel my outstanding BINs? (Also, I've never figured out how to set up an item to take offers; anyone have any clue how to do that?  The only options eBay gives me when selling is 'auction' or 'BIN', nothing in between!)

So I went digging through my piles 'o pony, and I found some G3 doubles that I forgot I had, and I figured I should try to sell them! ... but I have no idea what to charge!  See, I know that G3s are mostly around retail (especially the Core 7), but I've honestly never seen these two furniture sets up for sale on the Arena - or anywhere! - and I'm wondering if everyone's collectively forgotten about them! Were they just never that popular? Or were they ignored due to the collector's fatigue that settled in around that time in the G3 era? Does anyone know what they should be priced? I don't even remember what they retailed for! Decoden is, from what I can gather, the art of glamming up various accessories (keychains, trinket boxes, cellphone/mp3 player cases, etc.) with fake candy, frosting, gems, and so on! You see it a lot in Lolita fashion, it's popular in Japan right now, more so than the States at least! I've seen it around for a while, and I just had a great idea that might look really cute on a pony! ... but I've never done any decoden art before, ever! I barely even know what decoden is! So do we have any decoden fans here? Anyone who makes their own decoden stuff? any suggestions or tips for good tutorials, places to buy supplies? (I've Googled about decoden, so while I have the sort of general idea of how it works and what supplies to buy, I'd love to hear more personal accounts from fans of the style! Please help me not make foolish noob mistakes? xD)

Please note: The posters below are from my personal collection, which sustained some damage at last year's EQLA. The posters you will receive are still mint in their poster-tubes, hand-rolled by Enterplay representatives! I watched them being rolled, and each poster looked to be in mint condition; but just to be safe, each poster will be unrolled and examined for any flaws before I ship them to you! (Unless you prefer that they remain rolled up - just say so in your PM!)
The posters are made of a sturdy paperstock, I'm not entirely sure what to call it? (Thinner than cardstock, but thicker than standard printer paper.) It's very shiny and bright! Also, all of the cards are in mint condition!

Packing: All trading cards will be sent in the pictured hard-plastic protective cases, with bubblewrap to prevent them from being bent in transit. Posters will be sent in a cardboard poster tube, with bubblewrap at each end. (Unless you request otherwise!)

Hey guys! So I'm kiiiiind of at my wit's end, and I thought I'd turn my frustration into an opening post, and maybe we can help each other out! See, my problem is, I never found Wave 6 in-store. Never! (This is Wave Six, for those of us who are confused! http://www.strawberryreef.com/Index/G4/IndexBB.html#wave6 ) I saw an empty box, ONCE, and that was it! So I tried to find it online - to no avail! And then I realized... I really only have three or four online stores where I know they'll have ponies. Is that all there is? Or are there more options for online pony shopping that I don't know about? So I thought, hey! Maybe we could make a list of online merchants that sell ponies (that actually know what they're selling, side-eyeing at YOU, KBToys...!), to help those of us out who missed out on stuff, or who have stinky distribution in their local stores! Well, yet another problem with eBay. I can see why people avoid it at all costs! Unfortunately, my seller decided that ripping me off was a worthwhile risk too. It's been weeks since I won the auction, and although they changed the status to 'shipped' about two weeks ago, I have never seen either pony in the mail. This seller has several other neutral comments about 'slow shipping,' but this is ridiculous! I tried to message them for a response after the first weeks passed with no response, but all that happened was that they changed the status to 'shipped' - and the ponies never came. I'm disappointed, to say the least. The worst part of this? They just received positive feedback for buying something YESTERDAY. So it's obvious they're still active, and they managed to ship out their $200+ Hetalia sales just fine, because they received feedback for that too, saying it was 'slow'; they just decided to ignore me, I guess, because they didn't get the price they wanted. Hey guys! So, last summer I came up with a 'brilliant' plan - I would sunfade some baits all summer (about three months) and make them pure, sparkling white! (Or yellow. Or beige. You see what I'm saying here!) So instead of sunfading one, I decided to sunfade A BUNCH OF THEM AT ONCE! It was a big experiment for me, both in sunfading with painter's tape, sunfading different color plastics, and sunfading cancer, stains, and marker! Some of it worked, some of it didn't work, and some of it backfired, BIGTIME! But most of my girls came out beautifully, and I wanted to share my results! Be warned - I wanted to try and be as good with 'before and after' photos as possible, so THINGS GOT KIND OF PIC-HEAVY. I'll put them under spoilers, to make it easier on your computers! Moondancer, Fifi, and Dainty - assorted stains Spoiler visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMoondancer had more gunk on her other side- visitors can't see pics , please register or login - stains, cancer?, symbol-bleed Peachy 1 and Peachy 2 - cancer dots, ink spots/stains, highlighter/saddle "burns" Peachy 3 and Peachy 4! - cancer spots, head mismatch/weird body marks? pen? Gusty and Skydancer - marker/ink, victims of childhood art! G3 Blossomforth?, Petal Blossom - ink/staining, and marker (this was an experiment on sunfading on purple plastic, which is usually not recommended!) I set them all up in their little storage bin, and put them outside. But one night, it RAINED! (In the middle of June! What the heck, summer!) So I found out the hard way that painter's tape will leave blue marks if it gets wet and remains on a pony body!! Also, painter's tape is not as protective as tin foil; I had some fading on hair/cutie marks when I only used painter's tape to protect them. So when in doubt, tin foil it out! But also - tin foil will apparently rust?! So uh, now one of my ponies has rust stains. :I And now, for the AFTERS! Woo hoo! Moondancer! Not as white as I would like, she could probably do with another fading session, but definitely improved! visitors can't see pics , please register or login Fifi! She's much improved, but the stains have not completely faded-out. visitors can't see pics , please register or login Spoiler Good side: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginStained side: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginDainty! ... went missing!? Yeah, she's buried somewhere in another box, I'll have to find her and photograph her! Sorry!! Ringlet! Ohh, her one side turned out PERFECT, but sadly it would seem you cannot fade all ink marks. But since she's a bait with beautiful hair, I decided to give her a fancy new hairdo to compensate! The other side is creamy white, but this side is the same, sadly. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginUnder her hair: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSugarberry - gorgeous! I'd say one of the better sunfading successes in this batch! I was able to save most of the blush, but I think one cheek got more faded than the other. visitors can't see pics , please register or login Peachy 1 - the blue staining is almost gone! Woo hoo! visitors can't see pics , please register or login Peachy 2 - sadly, not much change for Peachy2. You cannot sunfade cancer, and you cannot sunfade highlighter/saddlesore. visitors can't see pics , please register or login Peachy 3 - almost worse than she started, because she's one of the ponies that got stained by the painter's tape! Gah!!  Not exactly a success story! However - I think some of her brown spots may have lightened somewhat? visitors can't see pics , please register or login Peachy 4 - DEFINITELY worse off, now she has weird stains?! Possibly rust stains from getting caught in the rain?! Augh!! That's the last time I sunfade outdoors... visitors can't see pics , please register or login Gusty - GORGEOUS! I'm super proud of how she came out!! I was extremely careful with trying to protect her glittery symbols, and I think it paid off! There's still a little staining, but overall it's a vast improvement! visitors can't see pics , please register or login Skydancer - not much improvement, sadly. She'll just have to be little miss 1-2-3 forever, perhaps! visitors can't see pics , please register or login G3 Blossomforth - vastly improved! Still some minor staining, but under the dust, she looks much better! visitors can't see pics , please register or login G3 Petal Blossom - good proof of why you shouldn't sunfade purple ponies. Sadly, there is now a discolored spot where the marker used to be. Well, we don't even know what the MLPFair/SDCC pony exclusive will be, but I know I want one!  So here's my proposal: you buy me the exclusive pony from the MLPFair/San Diego Comic-Con, and I can either A) pay you the cost of the pony, or B) trade you for card/poster exclusives from EQLA and pay the difference! Last year, EQLA got some beautiful Discord and Chrysalis posters, and a special foil Drama Pony card! We also got a promo foil of Applejack, which you could only get by purchasing a badge, so that's cool! So uh, I dunno if this is a 'brag' per se, because I only needed a few ponies in the lot and now I'm worried I won't be able to sell the others and I'll be stuck with like 15 doubles!  WHOOPS. If you wanna try and do some pony math with me, jump aboard! I'm happy to hear opinions, even if the opinions are 'you wasted your money.' So, here's the photo: visitors can't see pics , please register or login I snagged it for a not-too-awesome price - $120 plus shipping (ouch!), which comes out to $7.70 a pony. But I've wanted Nightglider for A LONG TIME, ditto for Yum Yum, and I thought if I could resell the other girls, then it would make them more affordable! (And I'm a pretty deft hand with pony cleanup!) And then I remembered I need a Majesty. And Happy Pocket. (Is that her name?) And I like the lion-thing too. So that makes it 14 ponies to try and sell, and some of them definitely have bang-trims. So I'm hopeful... but trying to be realistic. But I know Locket is fairly sought-after, ditto for Sugarberry, and maybe Whizzer too? So uh, there we go! Worth it, or not? Would you have snagged it?

Sad to say, within the first four auctions I've put on eBay, I've somehow managed to ALREADY come across a bum bidder! What a sad state of affairs. So, here's a quick breakdown: this guy was the only bidder on my promo foil Applejack card, which ended on Easter: http://www.ebay.com/itm/290884131015?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1559.l2649 Long story short, he waited until AFTER the auction to ask if I could send it Priority for a VA signing event he had in three days, and when I sent him an updated invoice with Priority shipping the same night, he dropped all contact; this could mean two possible things. 1. He's just a new collector who didn't plan ahead and now sees no 'reason' to pay for a card he won't get in time for his event. 2. He was hoping I would ship the card without waiting for him to pay, and planned to bilk me out of a $50 card by playing the 'desperate fanboy' card. I've been sending him invoices and messages once per day, for an entire week; and he hasn't responded or paid. (Not even a "I can't pay until X day, can you wait?" and yes, they were friendly messages! ) So on the seventh day, I finally told him he had two days to pay or I was reporting him as a non-paying bidder. And still no reply! So I just thought I'd give you guys a heads-up - this guy is either a savvy scammer, or a kid who got in trouble for playing with mommy's credit cards. Either way, a good person to avoid! In case he comes up with a new eBay SN, his initials are "J-- T--" and the city/state he's in is Monroe, MI. And again, his current SN is Sonicrush, and he has a whopping two feedback to his name right now. Keep an eye out!

Well, maybe not so much a trading CARD, but you get a standee, just like the other standees you can get from Enterplay! And she's giant, so Princess Twilight Sparkle can rule over the other standees! As it should be... I just got my book! According to Barnes & Noble, it isn't supposed to ship until April, so I'm excited to see it early! I can't wait to get started reading, but I was so excited by this 'giant trading card' business I just had to share!
