Hi all, I'm working from home today and tomorrow because I need something done to my car. It's nice to have a constant supply of tea and cookies, however it's also a bit lonely! Is anyone else in a home office today?

I have a specific wierd request for a pony diorama, in case anyone is up for it. I don't have all three (?) wedding outfits, in fact I don't have any one complete, even the UK one. I have a really odd collection of things, some of which apparently weren't even sold here. But still they turn up. Anyway. It made me think...does anyone have all three G1 wedding outfits? At least, all three gowns and veils? If so, what about a cruise wedding? All three brides, marrying any choice of other, with at least one sea themed pony presiding over the ceremony and maybe a few seaside themed babies as bridesmaids?!! With a seaside themed accessories and/or backdrop! I can only dream. I just finished watching 'Cruise' which might have something to do with this odd idea. Anyway, I leave you my diorama from a few years ago, wash day: visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I have heard a bit of controversy over playsets like this Canterlot Castle, visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginwhere they have a lot of detail but it's not sculpted fully 'in the round'. However as someone with limited space and an interest in detail, I decided I really like the two I have: Canterlot Castle and Golden Oak Library. What do you think? I also found this article on the technique of relief in sculpture which, once you get past the initial definition seems quite interesting... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relief#Mid-reliefOh and P.S. I'm on the hunt for Tirek's pointy staff thing! Does anyone have a spare?

So, couriers kind of loosened up thier requirements during COVID, has anyone else noticed them tightening up again recently? Last week I orderred some bits of wood and APC left the package around the back of my house with a note through the door. Happy days. I then ordered more from the same seller using the same courier. Today I got a knock on the door, saw the courier and ignored it (I was busy) thinking he would do the same as last week. However he started walking off with the parcel! So I opened the door on the chain. In the end he insisted on me taking the door off the chain so he could take a photo, becuase he needed to "see a little bit the inside of your house". He wasn't wearing a mask, not standing 2m back and didn't show me any ID. I did it but regretted it afterwards and put in a complaint to the courier. Does sanyone else think this is incredibly creepy?

Hi all, I have recently been reviewing the financial services that I use, mainly because we are moving house (woohoo!) and I needed to update my addresses. I got a bit of a shock with Barclaycard because they said thay can't change my address unless they have a mobile number for me already or I use the app. Two years ago I had deleted my 'phone number with them to avoid thier over zealous anti-fraud measures - I was trying to organise a wedding and I kept getting pinged all the time, like whenever I paid for something over £100. I don't wish to go into a branch with so much COVID around, I don't wish to maintain yet another service via an app, I don't even have a smartphone (by choice) lol. So I got huffy and deleted my account. I had Barclaycard Platinum for around 20 years with few problems until recently but this is how it ends So why do I need a credit card at all? Well, payment protection used to be really good with Barclaycard, and now I dojn't have that 'extra peace of mind'. Also I guess it also helped to groom my credit rating a little. So what can I use instead to get payment protection? I have had Paypal for years, mainly to transfer money to people or buy ponies. There are some protections with Paypal I thought, so maybe I could use it more and tick that box? So I started looking into Paypal and recently there have been a lot of complaints about it, e.g. taking money from the wrong account, lack of customer service etc. So my question is, if you would like to share, do you have a credit card and if so why do you use it? Also, do you have Paypal, is it still the main way that people transfer money to other people or buy stuff in the pony community and if so, have you had any problems with it? I feel like my world is just contracting as I get naffed off with 'technology' and opt out. Facebook, Google, my credit card... what will be next? visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I think these came with playsets or Loving Family sets at least in the UK, can anyone confirm or deny? I've been seeing them around for a long time but no references on the internet.
On a related note I'm also aware that definitely longer ribbons came with playsets. I remember a childhood pink one that I think may have come with the Grooming Parlour. I just found a lavender one so I'm very curious about that.
Final point while I'm here, I've always found these medium-green ribbons around pony lots that have kind of a slightly scalloped edging almost like a 'jewel cut' if it was a gold earring. Has anyone else seen these? I haven't seen them in any other colours and no idea why they keep turning up.
Many thanks
