So today my grandma came over to pick me up so I could help her paint her porch and she surprised the hell out of me when she whipped out this cute lil G1 baby MLP. I was honestly shocked. She told me that she found her at a tag sale but didn't know if it was a real MLP or not. She bought her for 10 cents! Honestly she is in great condition. Hair is silky, no marks, rubs or cancer, just a few hairs cut at the bottom of her mane and a little discolored (I'm pretty sure she's supposed to be blue but she has a greenish tinge to her now). I have no idea who this little cutie is and she has no symbol so I was wondering if anyone could help me  Thanks! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I'm the kind of person that if I think about one subject for a long enough time I end up dreaming about it  So last night I had 2 pony dreams. The first one was that I was giving my G1 Windy (the pony that started me collecting) a scrub because I needed to prep her for sunfading and while I was scrubbing at the plastic the paint started peeling off to reveal that she was actually a Parasol that someone painted as Windy The second was that I was at a thrift store and found 2 Creamsicle the Giraffes, but they were both in really rough condition. One had no hair and the other had a really bad hair cut and her hair was brown instead of white so I wasn't sure what to do because I have never re-haired a pony before There were also a few G2s, a couple G4s and a bunch of G3s there hahah Has anyone else here had dreams about ponies?

I had a baity G3 pony due to a past mistake in trying to make her into a custom so I decided to give making customs a try again (I haven't in a few years). Her hair was so nice and had the tinsel so I wanted to try and work around it instead of rehairing, since I've never done that before. Applejack seemed like the perfect candidate, especially since the official G3 Applejack looks nothing like the others. She came out better than I was expecting  I styled her hair 2 different ways, not knowing which I like best. I have a G3 Daisy Jo that unfortunately is more of a bait than a restore project for me. I've decided to make a custom out of her and was looking for ideas on which pony I should make her into Her hair is gorgeous and yellow, so I was going to leave it instead of rehairing. Which pony (in any generation) with yellow hair would you suggest? Thanks!

I managed to get my first MH doll a few months ago after wanting one really bad for the longest time. I still think they're really awesome and I love the designs but for some reason I can't get myself into collecting them like I thought I would  My ponies are currently overrunning all of the shelf space that I have and I know there is a huge MH fan community, so my question is, around how much do you think a Killer Style Draculaura would go for? She's out of package but in perfect condition and still has her stand, keychain and brush.

A few years ago I started experimenting with making customs just for something to do and I actually ended up liking all of the ones I did... except one I have no idea where I was going for the concept of it and it's driving me crazy that a perfectly good pony is just rotting away there under some bad paint job. I used Folkart acrylic paint on here and I wasn't sure if there was any way I could remove the paint to either restore the pony (she was a perfectly minty G3 pony, idk what I was thinking at the time) or to at least get enough off where I could repaint over it to make a different custom. Unfortunately I did use black to paint the majority of her body, if that makes matters any worse  Luckily though, I didn't use any kind of sealer, so it's just the paint that needs to come off. Thanks! UPDATE:I just gave her a hot, soapy bath and was really glad to see all of the paint coming off. She looks like a totally different pony Unfortunately though, I used red paint (same brand) around her hooves and eyes and even though the paint came off it still stained those spots a tinge red  Anyone know a fix for it? If not then I'm going to either try and make up some plans to make her into a new custom or just try trading/selling her on here as bait. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Found these girls at my local Price Chopper grocery store. I'm not one for fakies but they do have a certain charm about them Forgot to check the price but I doubt they are anywhere near expensive. I was at my local Walmart tonight looking for the Cupcake kids shirt that someone else had posted about in here but instead I came across this awesome Firefly one! Personally I like it a lot more than the other one, plus it changes colors from when you go outside to inside  It was $6.75 or something like that and in the kids section near the CareBear shirts. I got an XL (14-16) and it fits me perfectly. I take a size XS-S in womens to give you guys an idea for sizing. I can proudly say that as of the other day, my little brother (he's 7) became a brony He hears me talk about ponies all the time but never really brought it up in conversation or anything, so the other day I was sitting in my mom's room watch FiM and he came in to get something. Lets just say that instead of going in, getting what he was looking for and leaving, he stayed for the whole episode At one point Pinkie said something and he laughed, when I looked at him he said "Oh.. just that one part was a little bit funny" to cover up for himself and then continued to watch. Needless to say, we watched 3 episodes and by the end of them he was calling each pony by their name and laughing at every little thing that they did. My mom even got him to slip about actually liking the show by saying "oh wow, now you, me and your sister all have something in common.. we all like watching MLP, right?" and he said "right!". My little brother is going through that whole 'girls are gross, I hate everything pink because it's girly' phase right now, so admitting to liking something like MLP was a huge deal to my mother and myself. My boyfriend also randomly told me that he thinks Fluttershy is adorable and he's started pony hunting for me whenever he's around any kind of thrift stores So, my question to all of you is, have you ever converted someone you know into a fan? It's a pretty great/funny feeling

So unfortunately my sister has wound up in jail for a year (she's almost out though!), so I've been writing her a lot recently. She was the one person that got me into MLPs in the first place and we've always bonded about it ever since. Naturally, I've been trying to keep her up to date with FiM since she's never seen it before, which is hard because how do you really explain that to someone? Instead of really getting too deep into explanation, I've been drawing her some pics of the ponies using various vectors I've found across the internet as a reference. Today while finishing up her letter and writing the address on the envelope I thought it would be a good idea to draw Pinkamena on the back. I'm pretty sure this will disturb any postal workers/prison workers that have to handle this letter and just the thought makes me laugh I know she'll be completely confused when she sees it but will laugh. I woke up this morning and much to my surprise (I'm 20 so I don't really get things for Easter lol) the Easter Bunny left me an Easter basket In it, I was very happy to find G4 Lily Blossom & Twilight visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI also got a sparkly G 3.5 fakie from my grandmother.
