Sounds like lots of folks in the main pony corral have shelves or closets or rooms to display their collections. I'm wondering about the LPS community- do you display your sets? I wish I had room to... I'm a vintage LPS collector and right now they are all in boxes, but I dream of a day when they can come out to play again!
Even better, if you do display your LPS, please share a picture or two!

For some time the ponies in my pony room have randomly been afflicted by a reappearance of filth. Not sure how to describe it... it's not really mold/mildew-like, but it's the only thing that makes sense? The filth looks like brownish spots, sometimes whitish dust on the hair, and the hair gets real stiff (not silky like after a wash). There seems to be no pattern to the ponies that become infected; one pony can be pretty grotty, and the ones beside her appear fresh. All the ponies get washed and dried before entering the room. The room is in the basement, and may not have the best ventilation. The new filth that appears washes right off again, but it is laborious and I have had to re-clean a couple dozen ponies. Anyone ever experience problems like this? Is it mildew, or could it be caused by insects? Or something else? Hay everypony! The real brag here is that I even found any G1s at this antique show that I did not already have (it's getting harder and harder!). They second brag was talking the seller down to a reasonable price for the lot- they were priced $75 total ($20, $20, and $35 for the sea pony and float) down to $25 for all of them. With this addition, my G1 collection (not including internationals or mail orders) is 82.9% complete! Starflower (now I only need Tickle to complete the set!!), Salty + float, and Baby Countdown visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Hey everypony, Anybody can help ID this gal? G3 pose, but not store release quality. Her hoof stamp says: 2002 Hasbro, Made in China. Her symbol is two all green tulips, she has a purple heart on the back of front left leg, and multi-colored eyes. I'd say knock off for sure, but her hoof says Hasbro...? Hey pony girls (and boys)! In the process of collecting ponies, I have found myself with contemporary non-pony collectibles. Are there folks here in the arena that would be interested in trading G1 ponies for my non-mlps? If so, I'll unearth my "others" collections and start posting pictures. I'm primarily interested in completing my G1 collection, so I'd post my wish list also. Here is an incomplete list of item categories I could have to trade: Care Bears Strawberry Shortcake Calico Critters/Sylvanian Families G3 My Little Pony Purrtenders Vintage Littlest Pet Shop Reply here or PM me. If I get any interest, I'll post again! moving to For Trade for you, thanks! Partypony566

Hello!
I remember my first pony- Starshine. My sister's was Parasol. Our collection grew over many Christmases and birthdays, until it reached epic proportions of approximately 35 ponies (yes, thirty-five. When we were kids we thought this was huge). Then in high school I discovered flea markets. This is still my favorite place to go! I wasn't really into G2, or later G3, but as the G1 population dwindled at the markets, and I didn't want to go home empty handed, I eventually started collecting G2, G3, and now G4. I now have 396 ponies (G1, USA), a decent sized herd that I figure is 75% complete. I don't know how many of the other generations. Bunches, I guess.
On a side note, I used to think that the G2s were abominations. My sister and I had fun coming up with stories on why they looked so unappealing- usually involving pony plagues and mutations- however, the Ugly Trophy now rests with the the G3.5s, imho.
And now the boring stuff: My name's Sarah (ponyqueen here and on Ebay- (which I'm increasing disappointed with/haven't bought off there in a decade/only use it for pony research and I'm not talking price guide). I'm 31, and live in Minnesota. I like long walks on the beach and my dream is to visit Flutter Valley.
