I bought a non pony item and it was not as described at all.   The seller was very nice about it and said based on my photos to return it.  Then she stated she would provide a return shipping label for me so I would not be out shipping costs to return the item to her.  Where do I find that label?  I am so confused as I didn't even know a seller could create a return shipping label for a buyer.  Plus, I have never encountered a seller willing to pay for return shipping.  I wish more sellers were like this when they misrepresent an item.  If I can leave her glowing feedback when this is all over I will.  This is the best customer service I have ever had on ebay.  So where is my return label going to be?

So, I go to the website to see what is available. I knew there were going to be changes, but I can't seem to find any of the clothing for the dolls that are historical.  Did they decide not to do clothing for them anymore? Am I just not finding it on the website? I am so confused?  Use to you would click on a dolls name and their collection would be visible, but I can't find anything. Tell me I am just not navigating well and this company has not removed the best thing about AG? -_- :pout:

I purchased a pony from someone.  They shipped it to me in holiday paper.  Basically, all they did was wrap it a couple of times in holiday paper.  The printed part of the holiday paper was exposed to my pony.  There was no zip lock bag and no bubble wrap.  So, the holiday wrap design and color rubbed off on my pony causing her to turn green because she was a SS pony.  I paid very little for the pony, but this has upset me a great deal.  My message to the seller was to ask them to not do this again, but they did not offer any sort of compensation/return.  I understand people are in a hurry and mean well.  I like to think ever seller has some good in them when they are selling ponies, but honestly if you are going to sell ponies please put them in a zip lock bag.  Take the time to buy a mailer and ship them nicely.  Maybe you think you are saving a buyer lots of money shipping something a cheap way, but it doesn't save money when the buyer has to purchase this pony again.
Just about the time I think I have seen it all someone does something that just really surprises me. So, not only am I at a loss as to what feedback I should leave, but I also want to make sure people see this and think about using those plastic bags before you put a pony in anything.  It is one little bag that can save a buyers purchase from many postal problems.  Please don't use Christmas/Holiday paper only.  This is just not a professional way to ship an item someone has bought.

I have decided to keep the pony because it was very inexpensive. I have had to use clorox so once again I have a SS pony that is ruined in places due to a reason that could have been avoided.  I guess I will just deflock her.  She will become Cat Pee Pony's best friend Christmas Wrap Pony.

I just wish everyone knew this kind of thing would happen.

 :pout:

Rant over..sorry pony peeps

Off Topic / Come Meet my Precious New Fur Baby
« on: February 04, 2017, 02:38:57 PM »
We are super excited to share our new little dog with you guys.  We love him so much. He has brought so much joy to our lives in such a short time.  He was flown into Houston on January 5th I believe.  He was born in August.  He is a total love bug, soft snuggly sweetheart.  Even though he is the same breed as Aki was, he is totally different than Aki.  There are a few similarities, but for the most part we are really enjoying him for who he is.  I still cry a little over the loss of my Aki, but Yuki just makes things so much better.  He is about 5 pounds now and will only reach about 7 pounds the vet says.  In the short time he has been here we have been through a lot and, I am super super busy with hardly any time to myself.  I am enjoying being a fur mommy again though.  He is my world and I will have to say he knows it lol.

Yuki loves to wear outfits.  He has outgrown his Totoro outfit so, I will have to get it in a bigger size.  He was in XS and now he has finally getting into the S even though its slightly big it is the size he will wear in the future anyway. He enjoys all of Aki's old sweat shirts and things.  Here is a picture of him with his electronic babysitter.

Yuki also really loves small sized squeaker toys, chewing things, loofa dogs and those floppy unstuffed toys.  He loves to play, go for walks, sit on me, clean out everyone's ears and already has a lot of his commands down.  He is just amazing for a little guy.

His name means Happiness and Hope in Japanese and he certainly has brought us all those things.

Yesterday I got a bit annoyed.  I received some funds as a get well gift to use for a pony.  I went online and found the one I wanted on Ebay.  I made an offer around 1:40 in the afternoon.  I wait for a while and check in on it once but figured since there was no response the seller was working.  Well, I got extremely busy.  I don't have a lot of time to myself right now at all.  So around 6pm I get this email:

Hi (edited: this is me),

Thanks for your business! I am ready to ship the following item:(edited: not important name of pony)

Unfortunately, I can't ship the above until I've received a payment. Can you please let me know when I can expect a payment?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks!

Honestly it has not even  been a day or even 12 hours for that matter.  I can't figure out why I get a payment reminder only a few hours after I made an offer.  Is this standard with Make an Offer that you must pay within a few hours of your offer?  Am I wrong to be annoyed since I have always paid same day for all my items and felt insulted by this?  Maybe I am just tired and fussy, but I don't think this was very nice to do.  If I had not paid within a couple of days I guess, but 5 hours?

So, am I missing something?  What are your thoughts?  I could not get to it. I was so so busy.  I had not forgotten about it, but I had dinner to fix and critters to take care of, plus I have been really sick.

MLP Nirvana / Can someone tell me how Greek ponies are marked?
« on: December 15, 2016, 07:52:24 AM »
I have been looking at a lot of Greek ponies, but in many auctions they have no pictures of the hooves.  Some pictures the hooves say Hong Kong which doesn't seem right to me while others are completely blank?  So, being a little new to Greeks...can someone tell me what to look for to make sure I am purchasing a real Greek and not something that is passed off as one when it isn't?

I guess this may be a dumb question, I am new to collecting Nirvana is all.

There are so many typical factory errors with G1 ponies.  I am noticing the same things over and over.  For example Whizzer.  Her tail bracket is not placed in the middle of her tail.  After purchasing about 5 or more of these with the same issue I am beginning to wonder if this is just a Whizzer thing.  I was wondering if anyone has kept a list of each pony and typical condition factory issues we will see with them.  Some of these things can't be helped.  I was thinking with some collectors wanting toys of perfection it might be good to know if it is possible even MIB to get what one would call a perfect pony.

I have given up on wanting perfection with my ponies. These toys are so old now that even the perfect ones I had are beginning to change before my eyes.  So, I give up on that idea.

Do we have any kind of "typical factory error/ aging issues" reference list for the G1 ponies at all?  I sure would like to have one.  It would be nice to know that I am probably never going to find a certain pony without a particular flaw.

Pony Brag Arena / A Heartfelt Gift from Dazzlekitty RAOPK
« on: November 23, 2016, 12:24:54 PM »
Dazzlekitty and I have been friends for a while now, but nothing prepared me for the kindness she sent to me in the mail.  My precious Japanese Chin Aki Maki lost his battle with cancer a few weeks ago.  It tore me apart.  I have not been the same since he left me and went over the Rainbow Bridge.  Dazzlekitty sent me a precious gift that I can't come up with the words to describe how beautiful and thoughtful it is.  I can't really even explain how much I cried when I saw it and how much I will treasure it forever.  These were tears of joy for sure.  My little baby has his wings.

She had a necklace charm made for me with Aki Maki's photo.  On the back it is engraved with his name it says, "Aki Maki Always Loved Never Forgotten." It felt like a little bit of him came back to me somehow.  The engraved words are so true.  I will never forget him ever.  He was the best dog and my best friend.  It is the most heartfelt gift I have ever received.  Thank you so much Dazzle.  You are a precious friend with a huge heart.  Biggest hugs

In addition to the charm, she sent me three of the most beautiful ponies.  All my favorite colors and so lovely.  I am speechless.  I got candy and the cutest little LPS critter which I love.  Here are my ponies.  All three are set completers.  Thank you Dazzle, and R2 extended his thanks to you to for bringing much needed joy to our family during this time.  I will wear my necklace forever.

« on: November 10, 2016, 03:13:29 PM »
Okay so I have always kind of wanted one of these. I have no idea if I will ever get one, they are very expensive I see.  Can you tell me about them, what you like and maybe share some photos?  I am interested in personal experiences with these little guys.  They are so precious.

Off Topic / Can You Whistle?
« on: October 19, 2016, 08:40:00 AM »
I have been trying teach my R2 to whistle.  He can't learn it.  He says he has never been able to whistle. I can't figure out why.  So I was wondering how many of you can whistle, or do special whistles or can't whistle at all?  I wonder how common it might be.  Is it hard to learn?  Why can my R2 not whistle?  I never could learn how to do those louder whistles.

So, I buy a moc toy from an ebay store seller.  The seller decided to place my moc item in a flimsy mailer.  It arrived all bent up and was ruined.  This was very disappointing.  I sent pictures of the damage along with an email about the problem, but I never heard from them.  After a while I just decided to pass the item on to someone else and I left neutral feedback only that the item did not arrive as described and I mentioned something about contacting the seller and not getting a response.  Just basic no blasting or anything.
Nothing happens for a few days.
Then all of the sudden the seller writes me a claims they were on vacation and sorry they didn't communicate.  They cancel the sale, send me a refund and that is about it.  Well, at this point I am wondering why I did  not get a vacation notice when I sent my initial email and photos because, I always get one from stores when sellers are out. I would have waited longer had I known.
I am feel funny about it. I am glad I didn't leave a negative but I feel guilty about leaving the neutral.  I wonder if I can get ebay to remove it or was it fair for me to leave it?  I never leave bad feedback, I guess I am just getting tired of stores being so unprofessional and not considering items purchased important enough to protect with proper shipping.

MskittylovesRobin and I have had the best time visiting and sharing our common interests.  So, we decided to do a swap together that was really just a Friendship Swap.  We worked from multiple wanted lists and it wasn't a pony specific swap, but I did get a pony in my fabulous swap box.
Thank you so much for such a beautiful swap box Mskitty!  You just did a fabulous job picking items for me and I am thrilled beyond words with everything you sent.

First two photos are of the box and opening the box!!

MsKitty made me a little key booklet.  She wrapped items in different paper and each paper represented a certain theme.  Like from my Wanted List, Things I love, or an extra surprise thing..this was so clever.

I bought two items off of ebay recently that were not pony related.  I got both boxes today. One of my shipments was fine, but to my shock and horror one seller sent me an empty box.  All that was in it was 4 packing peanuts and not the item I paid for.  It had not been opened.  The label from ebay  was straight across the middle with no cut marks.  One piece of tape at the bottom, no tearing on the box and no cuts.  I am so upset.  How could someone do something like this?  I contacted them and they have not responded yet.  This seller had 100% positive feedback too.  I am at a loss and concerned about how I am going to get my money back.
