I have a pony who I no longer use, but he has a lot of art and a couple of customs, so I don't just want to junk him. Some of you may know Dursi, who was Vessa's partner for years. He was the first pony that I drew when I started collecting MLP and I've enjoyed his design a lot. But I've had a lot of changes in the last couple of years and he doesn't fit into my (or Vessa's) life anymore. I would love to pass his design and all of his art on to a new home with someone who would enjoy him and give him a new life! You'd be welcome to change anything you'd like to make him more "you." This was the most recent ref image that I made of him: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI have all of his older drawings as well: And he has two customs that were made by me years ago. Check out those sweet photography skills. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginHe also has a folder of adoptables: http://s612.photobucket.com/user/ZennaBug/library/Adoptables/Dursi?sort=6&page=1Would anyone be interested in giving him a new life? I was thinking $40 for his design, all of his art, and the customs. Shipping included in the continental US.

Hi guys! It's been way too long since I poked my nose in this neck of the woods. Some of you may know that I had some crazy life changes in the last couple of years. I left my jobs, had a big move across the country, ended up getting a much overdue divorce, started a new relationship with my best friend, got pregnant, left my job and moved back across the country again. My pregnancy ended up being super high risk and I was hospitalized at 31 weeks. My daughter was born a month early and has down syndrome and has had two surgeries (one intestional at 2 days old and open heart last month), but she's 5 months old and freaking awesome. She's doing well and I'm finally settling into a new routine. During our extensive hospital stays, I started drawing again! I got an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil for an early Christmas gift when I was initially admitted to the hospital and I'm finally making digital art that I'm proud of! I'm going to try to poke around and be more active now that I have a few minutes to myself every now and then. But I thought I'd start by sharing my most recent creations! The first two were for a contest, which ended yesterday. This is the one and only piece I've made with colored linework, which was interesting. It kept me busy and distracted while my daughter was having her heart surgery. The other is more my usual style. I've played around with my ponies a lot since I started drawing them more in 2009 and I've gone from very G1-inspired to various cartoony versions to more horsey. I'm finally at a point where I really like the final outcomes. The pony is Whisper, who is owned by Whisper Fillies. http://runeelf.deviantart.com/art/Whisper-in-the-Garden-683940452visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd then there is this one, who is one of my favorite pony drawings ever. In my favorite color scheme, of course. http://runeelf.deviantart.com/art/Whisper-Fillies-Contest-Entry-683940416visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd then a friend asked me to make one for her daughter, using the colors from her nursery. http://runeelf.deviantart.com/art/Felicity-683940397visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAfter that, I had to do good old Vessa, because it's been way too long since she had an update. http://runeelf.deviantart.com/art/Vessa-683940429visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI created one for my daughter, too. I've been jokingly calling her the Aubreycorn because I'm the worst at names! I'm working on one for my boyfriend as well and then I'll combine them into one big family picture! http://runeelf.deviantart.com/art/Aubrey-corn-683940442?ga_submit_new=10%3A1496352438visitors can't see pics , please register or loginBonus image! I'm proud of my recent ponies, but this is definitely the best thing I've ever made. visitors can't see pics , please register or login*EDIT* Fixed the file types and added links.

My little sister is almost finished with her Master's Degree! She has completed all of her classes and just has to finish her thesis, which she has to defend in a month. She has already written 40+ pages and is now working on the research component. She needs 150 responses from people between the ages of 18 and 35 and I'm trying to help her get there quickly so she has more time to analyze the responses and complete her thesis! It's 11 questions, only takes a few minutes, and it completely anonymous. If you have a few minutes, would you please click this link and help her out? https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MillennialRetentionHere is more information on the survey from her proposal, if you are curious: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThank you to anyone who answers her questions! *passes out cookies*

I'd like to start practicing faceups so I don't have to keep spending a zillion dollars on my dolls. But I do not want to work on my own dolls until I actually like what I'm producing. If anyone has an affordable blank BJD head (any sculpt), I would love to use it to practice. It doesn't have to be in perfect condition, as I plan on using the same head over and over to practice and wipe faceups. I'd prefer MSD or larger. I figure that a larger canvas will be easier to begin with.Found a head. Thank you!

I'm visiting my grandma in Indiana right now and she has recently picked up needle felting and I asked her to show me how. I was going to make Vessa, but all of her spots intimidated me a little. So I decided to make my newest pony character, Cherokee Rose, whose design I recently bought from gothicsugar. She's a super cutie who I haven't had a chance to really draw yet and my grandma had exactly the right colors in her big tub of wool. visitors can't see pics , please register or login(Original design by gothicsugar here: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,366601.0.html) After about 5 hours of stabbing (and at least a dozen holes in my thumb), I was finished! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI probably should have started with something easier or used a pattern, but I wanted to make a unicorn! Those skinny legs, the horn, and her eyes were such a pain! At one point, she was looking in two different directions. Ack! But I finished her around 1am and I couldn't be happier with her! I decided that adding her braids would be just a little too squirrely, so I left them for now. It's a beautiful day, so I took her out to get a better photo with good light. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd then my grandma had me take photos of every critter currently living on her mantle. The pony is the only one I've made yet. The others are by my grandma, various cousins, one aunt, and my sister. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI want to make more now! Next up will probably be a weiner dog for my husband's work desk.

What? Zenna still draws?! I do! It's been a long time since I did pony art just for fun. I draw lots of ponies and unicorns at one of my jobs (my second, part-time job is in the kids babysitting area of a gym) as coloring pages for the kids, but they're just sharpie doodles. Some are pretty cute, but I haven't bothered bringing home copies to scan. I will, eventually. But late last night and this morning, I had a sudden urge to draw ponies! So I did. I've been trying to work on giving my ponies more movement and life, so I have spent a lot of time looking at pictures of horses and trying out new poses. So far, I've been happy with them. And they're all quite a bit better than the last pony drawings I've shared. They're still sketchy because I am just rubbish at cleaning up line work on the computer and I would like to use the ones of my characters as new ref sheets and get the blank ponies cleaned up to add to our coloring book. I spent all day fixing up the one of Vessa and the idea of doing it to all of them is painful. If anyone really loves tracing and digitizing line work, I would love you forever and trade you for a traditional drawing if you'd be willing to help me! But on to the pics! Vessa first, since I've been working on her all. freaking. day. Pics in spoilers because there are a lot. Spoiler visitors can't see pics , please register or loginWIP 1. Colors done, but no line work. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginWIP 2. This is where I've stopped because I'm going cross-eyed. Colors are done, i've got some shading in there, and a quick background. But that line work. *pulls hair out* visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd my other sketches! They all need to be cleaned up too and I am dreading it, lol. Spoiler Dursi! I've been debating updating him. Mr. Zenna's favorite color is now lavender and Dursi is only shades of blue for the most part. And the donuts were a funny jab at him trying to become a cop, but that plan has fizzled a bit and he's super into fitness now. So the pony isn't him at all. But Dursi is cute and I have enough art of him and Vessa that I don't really want to change him up. I'm undecided. This will be his new ref sheet when I finish it. I have had a hard time drawing boy ponies, but I really like this one! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMy secondary ponysona, Lotus. She's the more shy version of me and I don't use her often, but I like her a lot. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginLittle Flitter. Because she's the best. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAfter posting some pics to facebook, my brother in law asked for a pony lol. So this is the start of his. No clue what his symbol or colors will be (something police-related, as he's a cop), but I have him a hairy chin and chest lol. The guy is like a grizzly bear. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd another facebook request, for a friend who is a personal trainer. This one will be colored in blues, purples, and white. I'll probably add some sparkles. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginA pegasus. Practicing wings! She'll go into the Arena coloring book once I've cleaned her up. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd a silly little earth pony. Also destined for the coloring book once she's done. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginNPA. I guess. They're sort of pony-ish. Spoiler And then some little kirin-ish critters. The first one is Kyle. I drew him working with the kdis at the gym one day to try to show them how you can make up your own animals. He's gone through lots of different ears and patterns, but I really like him lol. He's like a unicorn/goat/kirin/fluffy thing. And I named him Kyle because it made the kids laugh to have such a normal name for such a weird critter. I should bring home my oridinal sketch, as he's changed a bit (mostly in size) since I created him a few months ago. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd a lady friend. Maybe named Iris? I made her last night/early this morning (2am) because I couldn't sleep. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

There are plenty of ponies I don't own. Some of them are crazy common and just haven't made it into my home. But it's always funny when a pony you've always known about all of a sudden sticks out. I don't know why, but all of a sudden I am in love with Snuzzle. I have never really looked twice at her, but now I need to get her! She has a ridiculous name and such an unusual color scheme. I haven't bought myself a new pony in AGES, but I think I need a Snuzzle now. I can't be the only one! What common ponies don't you own? Or who have you fallen in love with recently?

Cross-posting from art, to be sure that my mystery Arena friend sees this. Today, I had a little package in my mailbox. I was so surprised and touched and it really made my day. Abbey was my first dog and there were times it felt like she was my only friend in the world. She was like my sister. But thank you SO MUCH, Jo Jo. You absolutely made my day. I can't wait to set up my tree so I can hang her right in the front. She's amazing.
