The maker kinoko juice says they are not removable and strongly glued in there. I'm sure you could get them out with effort.. ? I thought they were a unique shape so a replacement might be hard to find

These aren't really BJDs though. They are vinyl like other azone dolls, I believe. There are the original resin BJDs, however most of them are one-offs or extremely limited so they are way more money (if you can even find one second hand). That said, I think the eyes are still unique and it's hard to find a eye that fits them.
:) It's ok , I feel like I'm probably more stuck in "resin + string + ball joints = bjd" type mind set. I was more so trying to say because they were just designed with less customization in mind. That's why the wig is glued on, and the seem on the head is super tight. that's a very good point. i guess now i'm trying to decide between one of these and a differnt 1/3 bjd.She's only 23cm, so she's smaller than 1/3rd. So that's a big difference when 1/3 is 70+cm (?). I dunno, too huge for me!

They are from the Romantic Frill set. I originally was about to order the whole doll from that set, but decided that one Kikipop is enough. Luckily Mandarake had this set for sale! :frolic:

When you order, you choose the type of shipping you want (Ex: EMS, Small air packet, SAL), then they'll email you an invoice of everything. EMS is pretty fast.

The Azone girls are spreading like wildfire. I know two girls on the recast forum that sold their recasted kikis to buy Azone ones. They're adorable dolls and I think limiting herself to just Japan is more what caused people to buy the recasts. It's sad really. I knew I could never afford one of her dolls so the Azone's were a god send to me.

I do adore her sculpting though. The cat girls keep growing on me more and more :shakefist: The ones in Enaibi's photos don't seem to be the same ones in the auction, they often do trades or gift each other dolls. The first 2 sold at 130,00 and 210,00 yen @___@ So unless you have a couple thousand dollars laying around to burn, it's a pretty lofty goal (this is also assuming you are Japanese or can convince a Japanese person to buy it for you)
I honestly doubt we'll be seeing a cat version Azone doll any time soon, though I would love to be wrong. I think the only reason she considered the idea at all with kiki is because recasters got their hands on a few kikis and they're now pretty widely available. I feel like she felt that if a lot of people were able to get them now anyways, she might as well reap some of the profits herself.
Personally I'm still waiting for my Chocolate bunny, checking my phone once an hour for any shipping notifications >_< :lol:
