I'm up to 11... and I said I was just going to get a Lagoona. I'm worried I'm going to drown in my collection! I feel like 11 is a lot lol. I still find myself wanting more though. At the same time, I feel like I'm not giving other collections a chance. I really want to expand my La Dee Da's and Winx collection as well as get into Moxie Girlz.
So how many Monsters do you have and how many do you say 'enough' is? I've tried to limit myself to one doll of each character but... but... roller maze Frankie... and Ghouls Rule Frankie... :blush:

my son did a count today .. he has 5 dolls, my daughter has 10, and i have 21... i mostly have all the dolls that i want that are out right now .. missing the new 3pk dotdead, the 3 scary tales, and lagoona dawn of the dance.. and there's more coming out next year that are going to be making their way to that list :|

I have 8 plus 3 customs being made, just bought one on EBay and buying one tomorrow. And this was after I was NOT going to collect these XD

Maybe.. after obtaining Operetta and Cleo I'll call it quits for now until new monsters come out?
I still don't have a couple of the harder to find girls but I have a monster collection and enjoy them. I just don't want them to completely take over my room. My goal is to be a mass toy collector, not a specific one. Several months ago I decided to get into dolls. I really need to focus on a different selection lol

Counting CaMs and a handful of doubles (from those darn exclusive multipacks), I have 97. As a completionist, I still need 21 main dolls, and three CaM add-on packs. Hopefully I'll get those knocked out in the next month or so. Just in time for the "2013" releases, like Scaris, and the dance class dolls. They say 2013, but based on past releases, I'm anticipating them to start hitting shelves by late fall. And there are still a couple exclusive playsets that haven't been released yet.
I seriously need to invest in some new shelving units; other than Clawdeen's bed, I don't display the playsets, and my dolls are starting to get crowded.

So far only 5. I will say I am verrry picky with these. Not a huge Clawdeen fan, the only one I might get is the Scaris one. Same with Lagoona, like her face, but I'd only use her to customize.
The only ones I really want to add to my collection are Signature Ghoulia (not felling the other versions), Tolarei (I really hope the re release her), Signature Draculaura (again, not felling the other versions), and Howleen.
I like Rochelle, but hate the hair on the signature version, so I'll wait for the Scaris version. I might look into some of the cam sets though.
Oh, and the only boy doll I really like is Clawd.

I just did a full headcount for the first time in a while, and I have 36 deboxed, 13 still in-box, and 5 completed CaMs. And 7 ghouls on the way. *addicted* :enthralled:
And considering I want every single Scaris doll, my collection isn't going to stop growing anytime soon! :faint:

I wanna say 25 to 30, including about five of them that are still in their boxes. Most of my dolls are back home at my parents' house. I'm trying really hard to keep it one of each character...but I already broke that rule with Jackson because he's my favorite guy. xD
The only other doll I plan on getting that's already out is DDG Operetta (I don't have a doll of her, and I'm not too fond of her regular one). I am looking forward to Jinafire, and Catrine. And the spider one (Wydowna?), whenever Mattel decides to release her. <3

21, which is MANY since I only started collect them in June...
But no I don't plan to stop anytime soon. Especially since my other collection, ponies (g4 and g2), aren't that active (No new G4s in stores for half a year now).

For some reason I always thought I only had about twenty, but I counted and it evolved to 38. :blush:
Also, two in the mail (I hope!) and more on my wants list! Arrgh! How did this happen?

I wasn't going to get into MH but then I saw Rochelle... I don't own any yet xD but I plan on getting Rochelle for Christmas or something. And I really would like to have Venus and Catrine ! Those are the ones I really like so far. My priority are the G1 ponies still ! :D

I have all of the completed CAM girls, though, and that counts them. I am not in love with most of them [the CAMs], and will probably be finding a new home for them soon.

I have around 50 or so. I just counted them the other day, but I got a few more since then as gifts, so I think 50 is a safe bet.
As a completionist there are a few that I need to finish yet and that is driving me completely bonkers every time I look at them! >_< But I doubt that I will be one of the few who has every doll that comes out, simply because trying to do so would just drive me insane.

To add more to my earlier post, I own 19 (two of which are in the post), to say what I think I'll have come 2013, there are 3 that I would really like to get, and a possible other two depending on what they look like in prototype... :)

I got 12 dolls now :) My only multiple character is Ghoulia (I have signature 1 and SDCC.)
I've been collecting since October 2010 when I got my first sig 1 Lagoona and shortly after that GB Lala who i still have <3 I am surprised I've been able to keep it short XD

having been adamant that I only wanted Spectra, B&W Frankie and the skellie CaM, I now have twenty and three or four incomplete CaMs :blush:

I have 24 plus 7 CAMs lined up on my dresser, plus I'm not sure how many (30-40?) in a box because I don't have the room to display them at the moment (and I don't really want my mom to know exactly how many I own >_>)

I have 32 so far, and today I just bought a create a monster 2 pack today with 2 torsos and then 2 add on sets that I have to get the torso's online.

I said I was only going to get Lagoona too! That didn't last long... I started with Mad Science Lagoona, then Skull Shores Abbey and Draculaura showed up, then signature Spectra, and finally the CAM gargoyle guy. So I only have five but I'm on the lookout for a few more (mostly Gil). I'm also probably going to cave in and get Scary Tales Clawdeen since I keep seeing her and I like her so much in person. It's weird because I haven't liked any Clawdeens but that ST one is just so lovely up close!
ETA: Also must get Jinafire Long next year. It's inevitable!

"I only wanna get Frankie and Lagoona!" Picked up Mad Science Lagoona and Signature Frankie on the same day because I had coupons. XP After that...It happened...I had fallen victim of the Dollhouse.

I've got a handful of doubles. Either from the exclusive sets, or from wanting a second to "play" with (Sig. Operetta, DT Lala-had to take those tails down :lol: etc) I counted the 2 packs as 2 dolls, and faceless CAM too. I'd say there's easily over a hundred. Sorry, no pics:( I've got to be the worst when it come to technology :blush: Plus, with 100+, they aren't all together:( I'm waiting for my husband to put up shelves for me. They are starting to pile up in the closet.

I counted 107 total released dolls a few weeks ago. With Draculaura beating Frankie by 1 release for the most doll releases.

I just did a headcount I have 82 MH, 2 customs and 3 CAMs. I actually have most of the releases, I'm just behind in some of the newer exclusives and Ghouls Rules/Rollermaze dolls as lately I have been more pony-centric :blush:

Let me give a little count and I have....58, including rehairs. I'm seriously thinking about downsizing though. There are a few that I'm a bit 'meh' about...

I'm so glad the other completionists posted, I was feeling a little bad! XD My collected count may be a little off, but I came up with 104. 12 of them are completed CaMs, and 3 are doubles. I guess this means I technically brought home my 100th doll with the 5 I purchased this weekend! I also have all the plushes, cross pets and electrocuties. I'm trying to complete my fashion pack collection, missing 5 or so.
It's a miracle I have as few doubles as I have (all Draculauras, for some reason. I just love her so much!), I feel like I need a second one if I want to restyle or really redress anyone, or display a fashion pack. :blush: I also want a second set of Scarily Ever After. I love them in the beautiful boxes, but I want to take them out too...
It's actually easier for me to count what I don't have! I believe I'm missing 13 dolls, as well as all the Lab CaMs and a body for my Puma boy. I'm missing all the newer playsets too (but I have the older ones!), mainly because I STILL haven't found the versions with dolls in them, but I'll get them eventually. The school is so expensive, maybe I can convince someone to buy it for my Christmas present, haha.
I also really need to work on my displays. I'm very happy with my signature dolls, but everyone and everything else is just sort of all over the place, some still in their boxes.

I just bought my fifth one today. I've only been collecting for about 3 weeks.
I had planned on getting sig. Draculaura today. So many times I've seen her at Target, but I wouldn't have enough to get her. Finally, when I do have the money, she's nowhere in sight. When I checked at Wal-Mart, I was pleased to spot Rochelle, as she's part of my want list, so I caved and snagged her. I hated to walk out of a store twice empty-handed.
I may end up having to buy the Scary Tales dolls. They just put them out at my Target. I wasn't really thrilled with the pictures, but seeing the dolls in person, I suddenly appreciate them a lot more. I had originally hated Draculaura's outfit when I saw the pic, but now I love it.
Still no sig Spectra anywhere. She's another one of my grails.
I'm also not making the mistake of saying "I'm only going to buy this many dolls and that's it!" Nope. Not doing that, because I'll fail miserably. If I love it, I'll buy it.

The only double that I have right now is Frankie...(Roller maze and Classroom) I'm making a conscious effort to not end up with multiples, which I don't think is going to be too hard, since I'm more drawn to the CAMS than the official characters. Plus, you can't get multiples when your CAM characters are all different, right? :P

I am mainly just interested in the ones that are out now with their pets also Purrsephone and Meowlody. Hopefully that's where it will stop with me, hopefully.I am kicking my self for not getting into this sooner like I wanted because Lagoona's boyfriend Gil seems to be one of the harder ones to find..Hopefully they will re-release him.. I just think they are so neat because each of them is so different and unique.. I have to say so far its a tie between Robecca and Venus as to who is my fav.. Just want I needed though another collecting addiction lol

Just change Clawdeen with Abbey, and this is exactly the same dialogue I had with my boyfriend! It started out in February with me only wanting one Lagoona, so it was just Classroom Lagoona. But then I decided Abbey and Spectra were kinda pretty, but Skull Shores was only just starting to be released and there wasn't any hope of getting Spectra at that time, so I just wanted Skull Shores Abbey. Somehow things snowballed, and I've got 26 dolls now. There's something about Lagoona, I suppose :)

I have doubles of core characters meaning i have all origional characters from multiple sets on top of my tv stand. And i have shelves for sorting dolls in sets

I finally got around to counting all of mine. I have 21 on display. I also have a GR Frankie in the drawer - I'm not sure if I like her enough to keep her yet or not. And I just traded my Home Ick Frankie for a Venus. And I have a CAM sea monster in the mail, and I will also have a signature Clawd coming sometime this month. Whew!

I just got four more dolls today..wally world updated their MH section, I got the dot dead gorgeous 3 pack and the spectra doll! They are the only ones of the DDG I was missing hehe. I was with a couple friends, one knows my obsession with MH and the other doesn't really know. They both burst out laughing when I rushed forward and snatched the dolls off the shelf to hug close to me XP

I have a one of each character rule unless it's something special/awesome. I've got the first release of every character except Gil - Jackson got bumped up to his signature version (can't find my GB one anywhere..).

I just have one at the moment, sig Draculaura. Hopefully she won't be the only one for long since she looks lonely. At the moment, there are 7 others I want (sig Spectra, Rochelle and Frankie, Scaris Clawdeen, Draculaura & Catrine and Classroom Lagoona) so hopefully I can get them all eventually. I'd really love to trade at least partially towards one of them since I have tons of pony and non-pony related stuff in my trade box, but so far I haven't found anyone.

I started with Lagoona and within a week I had Dead Riding Hood Clawdeen. Tuney helped me add a Draculara in that same week. So here I am 3 weeks later and I have 3 more on the way...for a total of 6 (Spectra, Snow Bite and another Darculara).
I am hunting for (and has possibly located) a Toralei, and I think I will stop there for a while...unless they release something that I have to have :)

I just think they are so neat because each of them is so different and unique.. I have to say so far its a tie between Robecca and Venus as to who is my fav.. Just want I needed though another collecting addiction lol
To update this I started out with 5..looks around and now I am up to 25 as well as a couple of CAM sets.. I don't know how it happened but It looks like I am building a army of Lagoona's lol. To think I only wanted Ghoulia and Spectra lol...

I started with Lagoona and within a week I had Dead Riding Hood Clawdeen. Tuney helped me add a Draculara in that same week. So here I am 3 weeks later and I have 3 more on the way...for a total of 6 (Spectra, Snow Bite and another Darculara).
I am hunting for (and has possibly located) a Toralei, and I think I will stop there for a while...unless they release something that I have to have :)

42. It's a perfect number, and I'd say that's plenty - 'cause it is ! - but I want the Headless Headmistress so much !
After her, and maybe Caterine DeMew, Mattel's gonna hafta pull out the big guns to get me to open my wallet much further - like spring a Slo-Moe doll on me ! He's the only character I want more than H.H.
However, I'm a total sucker for clothes and playsets, so I think they're still gonna get most of my 'fun' money for a while !

I agree fully, it does snowball easily. I had two and found one I had been searching for in the walmart in Kansas the first day of vacation...and by the end of vacation (a week) I had 12 dolls to add to my collection at home :lol:

Short Answer: 6 in less than a month.. :lookround: but I am really picky
Long Answer:
I used to just admire these on the shelf, but then that CA Cupid kept giving me the eye on the walmart shelf. just broke down and bought her 1st week in september. Thought Rochelle was adorable, but needed to see Venus and Robecca, Rochelle won. Saw the torsos online and bought, picked up Bee Cam, 3 Eyed Cam, and Operetta DDG while waiting. And today finally found the SS Lagoona Blue to buy. May pick up the Ghost cam soon, but everyone else I want does not come out until the end of the year, start of 2013.

I really love Frankie, and eventually caved and got an original one. I won't be getting any more, I am not a big doll fan, but find her interesting and cute. I do like the line, but find they are pretty poorly made for the price, but, that's what today is all about I suppose :) I am happy with my one lone frankie, I may possibly get her a little girlfriend to hang out with later, it'd be a hard decision, they are all so nice to look at :)

I have two now (Sig Draculaura & Rochelle) and my mom's taking me to hunt for more tomorrow. I'm hoping to find Spectra or at least SS Lagoona.
