Any other pokefans here? I've loved Pokémon since I was about 7 years old.
I've played all the generations of games, from Red & Blue to Black & White. I've seen quite a lot of the anime. I've read a little of the manga. I've just recently started to collect cards, figures and plushies again. :)

I do! And so does hubby. He likes the games more than me though but I love Pikachu more than him! Well not more than him but more than he loves Pikachu.....

I have a huge collection of pvc figures and cards. Unfortunately I stopped watching after like season 3 because it got to be too much work to keep up with and work is the opposite of fun.

I love Pokemon! I've played almost every game. XD My favorites are Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald because Sapphire was my first. (And Blaziken is still my favorite Pokemon!)

I love Pokémon! I've been playing it ever since I was little. My first game was Pokémon Red I believe! I'm a huge collector of the cards, and I collect plushies of my favourite Pokémon. I cannot wait for the new games to come out :heart: I also have a massive cardboard box of figures too!

I like the first cartoon series of Pokemon, and have a folder of the early cards, some mini playsets, and a few small Pikachus. Can't collect more since I am almost overwhelmed with other collections, but it will always have a special place in my heart since a disabled child who I loved and who died recently loved Pikachu too. Whenever I see anything Pokemon related in shops, I hear his excited squeal and his excitement for 'Ee-aa-choo!'!

I am crazy about it. Pokemon and MLPs are my two major, life-long obsessions. I play the games religiously, collect cards, the manga, and have a random assortment of toys. I haven't watched the anime in years, but I do always watch every movie. My favorites are Oddish ( :P ) and Girafarig.

yep! xD i was in grade school when we first got them, my sister and i collected the cards, which quickly got banned from school because people kept bringing them, iv still got all those first gen cards somewhere, I should look for them, I didnt play most of the games because i wasn't fortunate enough to have a game boy most of the time haha, but I have played gold and i sort of still love that one xD

I love Pokemon. Always have since I watched Mewtwo Strikes Back when I was five (until then, I had never heard of it o_O). My favorite game is Emerald because it was my first handheld game, and to me, it has the best music.
My favorite pokemon is Banette. I love that little cutie. :3

Pokémon is my main obsession and biggest collection by far (...Haha...Ha). I've got every game, including the US/JP only releases. I'm still waiting on a sequel to Pokémon Snap though.
It was Pokémon that got me interested in Japan too. I'm eternally grateful for that, it's such an amazing country and the people are wonderful. Such beautiful culture too.
And of course, the Pokémon Center in Tokyo - I'm always like an Arcanine using Extreme Speed going around that store and picking up everything I can carry back to my hotel, rofl :silly:

I think the majority of us like an element of it deep inside. Its one of those things that you kind of hold onto.

I love Pokemon. I've played most of the games. I think my favorite is Pokemon Diamond. I also like Emerald. I need to buy Black/White and the remakes of god/silver. I used to collect the trading cards. I have mixed feelings about the anime. I love some of the characters, and I also like seeing various aspects of the Pokemon world. However, I can't stand Ash. I used to get so upset during some of his matches. Some of his victories defied the game's logic. XD I love the manga.

Pokemon will always be so special to me. Not because of the gameboy games (I never did get into gameboy :/ ) but the craze when it came out was really just...something else! I was in 3rd grade when it was really popular (please let me just say OMG HAS IT REALLY BEEN THAT LONG?!) and my family got really into the card game and show and eh...anything related to Pokemon lol. I still have a bunch of swag like keychains, a couple plushes/beanies, a collection of cards, a nice collection of tiny figurines, and lots of other stuff that I may never be able to get rid of, haha. It just really takes me back and although I don't care for it much as it is now (not being a game player, I never did care for many Pokemon after the first 151) I am still so glad to see that it's still hugely popular. :heart:

I am playing pokemon pinball on the game boy it is the only game i have for that. Personally mewtwo will always be my favorite one.

I love Pokemon, although I didn't get to play a real Pokemon game until Diamond and Pearl came out (I pre-ordered Diamond). Now I have Diamond, SoulSilver, White, and Emerald, and I really hope to get my hands on a copy of Pokemon Yellow one day. I have the old Pokemon Pinball too, I have a Gameboy Color that I got for my birthday last year :D
My favorite Pokemon is Mudkip. :heart:

I am a Poke-geek! :nerdy: I have cards, movies, the entire first season and some of the second, plushies, toys, books, manga, shirts...and of course the games! Not just the regular games either, I have Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Pinball, Pokemon Trading Card game for Gameboy, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Puzzle League...I am obsessed I tell you, OBSESSED! I started out with Blue version *my brother had Red* and went from there!
I have a lot of favorites, but some of them are Arcanine, Ninetales, Rapidash, Shinnx, and Mightyena. :lovey:

Oh man, I have always loved Pokemon. I was in kindergarten when it first started getting big, and got a Game Boy with Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Pinball for my 6th birthday, and then Pokemon Snap for my 7th. My favorite is Pidgey and it's evolutions. :3

I love pokemon! i scored a special edition pokemon gameboy colour and pokemon yellow for $5 from the op shop.. I felt bad for paying such a low price but. I didn't have anymore cash on me >_<; BTW favourite pokemon? Charizard :DD

I'm still a Pokemon geek. I've been into it since it first came out and still collect all the games and the cards, as well as the figurines of my favourite characters. I'm working on collecting all of the DVDs, I have most of the movies, and am mainly working on the TV series. Must have a complete set!
As for my favourite pokemon, I have too many to pick just one. But I suppose it would be one of my original favourites, Bulbasaur and it's evolutions, and Gengar.

I love Pokémon! I never played the RBY games but I got Silver from my grandparents after their trip to Greece back in 2001 and I've been hooked ever since. I've got at least one game from every generation and Fluffy, my Togekiss plushie! :biggrin: I used to have a some cards too but they're probably up in the attic now hiding in a box. :P

I love pokemon, and so does my boyfriend! ^^He started collecting the Tomy toys, cards and plushies last year, around the time I started collecting ponies. I think I've played almost every generation that came out. So far, i like Soul Silver the best. >_> I like the first two generations of pokemon mixed with the newer game. I'm hoping they'll release a new version of Red, Blue and Yellow. c:
My favourite pokemon would have to be Slowpoke. So cute. >///<
My boyfriend and I are planning on cosplaying as pokemon trainers for our next anime convention. I'm making him a life-size squirtle or charmander, and I'm making myself a life-sized slowpoke. :D

My biggest problem is I'm not at all into the virtual gaming. I like the show and the card game. Non-gamers aren't usually included in the fandom of anything.
If I had to pick a favorite it would probably come down to scyther.

Pokemon! A big nostalgic thing for me, for sure. ^_^ I began watching it only two months after it started airing on US television- my brother's friend at summer camp told him about it since his dad worked for the kid's TV station that translated it or something... they were both eight, I was four. Totally agree with melody_angels and PinkRosedust- it is definitely something that you hold to you, and it was the most amazing thing as a child to be into Pokemon and nearly everyone else was too, like if you didn't know someone, at least you could talk about Pokemon, lol!!
They are the only virtual games I ever played... I hate to admit this, but I actually save up for the gaming consoles (like Gameboy, DS, etc.) just for Pokemon. I don't buy any other games because I don't play them. Yeah, I know it's expensive, but I love it too much. D:
My first version was yellow, and I loved it!! Though I think my favorite version I ever played is my Pokemon Crystal... Quagsire was my favorite 2nd gen pokemon when it came out!! Loved it even more in the show... so cute!

Yes I've always been a fan! I tend to go on a gaming binge once a year or so and play the latest game like a fiend XD I also bought a used game off someone on eBay so I now have tons of shinies.

My favorite is Wooper. :D
It is a given that any time a new game comes out I will choose the Fire-type starter, and then load up the rest of my team with tried and true favorites. I almost always have a Zubat or its equivalent, a Wooper, a Psychic-type, maybe a Ghost-type, and a Pidgeot-clone.

I love pokemon!! I collect and play the card game, currently running a pshchic deck with scolipede in it <3 I also have some plushies and figures.

I've got many favorites, can't just choose one. Most of the are from generation 1, but I like many of the newer ones as well.
My favorite region is Kanto. It's so cozy and so much nostalgia to me. <3
I've never learned to play the card game, I'm just into collecting them. I'd love to get a booster box one day. Right now I don't have the money though. :/

I love playing the TCG, but there aren't any local tourneys near me. You can always play online though!
And as for faves - Fave region is Kanto or Johto. Fave Pokémon? Absol, Blastoise and Shinx! I'm also very fond of Krookodile, Charmeleon, Totodile and Victini.
...And I also love Missingno. Heh.

I love the cards but have never played the game either card or DS. I think it is such a cool concept and there are so many cute Pokemon... My favorites are Rapidash, Mawile, and Snubbull

i played the video games but never really got into playing the card game. i have a ton of cards though! i started collecting them when they first came out and easily have hundreds. i pretty much stopped collecting after the first 152 came out but i have a few from after that.

I owned Pokemon comics and cards from Germany and the Netherlands.
Back then I had some rare stuff like a free Pokemon comic and a limited edition VHS box.
But now I had thrown my entire Pokemon collection out and I still have some games.

I remember waking up every morning before school started to catch this on TV while I was in middle school. I used to want (hay, I think I still want!) Ash and Misty to get together. xD They must have been one of the first couples I ever shipped together lol.
I've never played any of the video games but I have a bunch of cards from the trading card game.

Ohhh god, don't get me started. :) I got into Pokemon when I was 4, meaning I've been a Pokefan for 12 years..
I have hundreds, possibly thousands of Pokemon items around my house (with no exaggeration..). :D I've got incredibly rare cards (including loads of first editions and Japanese), plushies, figures, video games (gameboy, GBA, n64, DS), board games, books, mags, towel, bedding set, I've had clothing, mugs, stationary, stickers, videos, dvds, cds.. Countless other items to name.
If you open certain cupboards and wardrobes in my house, Pokemon merch is *guaranteed* to fall out and whack you on the head. :lol: :D
I'm honestly thinking of selling some of it as I have a ridiculous collection. But my favourites, I'll probably cling onto forever.
My all-time favourite Pokemon is Eevee, I own so much Eevee stuff! I bought another one today, she's absolutely adorable <3 I love her..

I've loved pokemon since I was 4, since the first episode of it first aired here in Canada. (I literally remember seeing the commercial for it on TV, and being super excited for the show, and loving it as soon as it started. :P )
I have almost all the games (save for the GBC card game, Pokemon coliseum, Diamond, HeartGold, Pokemon Frontier, the newer Pokemon Ranger, and White.), and I also have over 1,000 cards. (Mainly from when I was younger.)
I also have a ton of other random pokemon stuff, from shirts, to toys, and now: Earphones.
Also the past week, I've been watching all the episodes of the newest pokemon series, Best Wishes.

Pokemon pretty much summed up my childhood. I loved the games so dearly and even though they're not what they used to be and my brain is unable to remember the names after gen 3, I will continue to support them and buy them for all the joy they bought me. One of my greatest life achievements was completing the pokedex on crystal version...

My favorite of the games is definitely Platinum. That was also around the time I got into EV training so I spent tons and tons of time on there. Just wasn't able to get into SoulSilver or White as much, though they are great games too of course. I really really hope they bring back some stuff from HG/SS for Black II and White II. Pokemon following you was the best thing ever. And the Shiny Leafs, which were so awesome and so much fun to hunt down for my favorite buddies.

I only got into EV training in B/W, I just couldn't wrap my head around the concept when I learned about it in D/P.

I've played all the main Pokemon games from Red & Blue all the way to Black & White. I'd always get one version and my brother would get the other. Now I do that with my son. He got HeartGold and I got SoulSilver. Then he got Black and I got White. I don't watch the show much, I catch it sometimes but I don't like the new characters as much as I did the first few seasons.
My brothers and I used to be big into the card game. My brother was awesome at making decks, so he'd custom make all our decks (myself, both of my brothers and two of their friends) and we'd go to this local comic book store every weekend and enter the tournament. My brother paid everyone's entrance fee ($2) and he'd get all the prizes we won. Mostly we just won booster packs and Pokemon figurines, but when we had five of us all winning all the top prizes in both age brackets, it added up. We all just played for the fun, but the other kids eventually hated playing us because we'd win all the time. Unfortunately, that place closed down several years back. The owner's wife kept firing the good employees that had been there for a long time (she even fired her father in law) and it lead to them hiring people who would steal from them. Back before they closed I know my brother sold most of his rare cards because we were getting bored of playing by then, but now my son has the rest of his collection. It's a shame the new cards aren't compatible with the old ones. I liked the old setup much better.
I know I wish they still sold the Pokemon toys like they had back in the late 90's. Even the Burger King Pokemon toys were cooler than the ones in the store now. They're also really expensive for what they are. My son has some of the older ones, and he wants more since a lot of them aren't in the best shape since he's had them since he was three, but doesn't like the new ones.
As far as the games, I'm currently playing Pokemon Platinum Enhanced Edition. It's a modded version of the game where you can catch all the Pokemon (up to Platinum, which is still over 400) in one game, including the legendaries without having to cheat or go to events to get them. I used to just trade the normal way between my son and myself to get Pokemon we wanted, but we ended up getting a new wireless router so we no longer had the WEP security, but instead WPA2, which the DS can't connect to. So we're forced to play offline. It's really neat, though, having the chance to get your favorites from all the different regions all in your party. It certainly keeps my son occupied and he has a pretty short attention span.

Yeah, EV training just seemed so complicated at first that I didn't even try to figure it out. Then my boyfriend was doing a Pokemon League on a forum he has and I joined in and he taught me. Pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

I remember when the first movie came out and we got the promo cards!! I still have them (and 8 mew cards x_x I don't know how I got so many of those guys, lol)!! Ah, memories.

I love Pokemon. I don't like the English dub of the anime though. 4kids cencored it to much. So I watch the Japanese version. I have thousands of card and about 50 plushies. I have about 25 games. And on my Red version, I have 3 or 4 Missingnos, a Kangaskagn (IDK if it's spelled right) that I taught fly when it used to be an 'M, and I have a Mew I got with the Mew glitch. I like glitches, if you couldn't tell. XD

I want to go there so badly. I'd love to get an Arceus plushie. I also want a Magikarp plush just for the lulz.

I love pokemon! I used to be big into the merchandise collecting side of it until last year. I hit most of my major goals so I moved on to ponies.
I don't watch the show but I do play the games, and have been playing since I was small. (Heart)Gold/(Soul)Silver and Black/White are my favorites so far.
Mareep is my favorite pokemon, followed closely by Feraligatr and Kyurem.
