Anyway, this is cool! A third of those I won't need because I got the mane 6 or a couple from the Toys R Us set. Time to be looking on Taobao and ebay for these.

This mix is pretty perfect. Though yeah, they need a fluttershy mold.
Considering the glittery wave of ponies (the so called "wave 4") hasn't appeared anywhere yet and these seem to contain "solid colored that might glow in the dark" ponies just like wave 3, I'm going to theorize that these are in fact wave 4 and the ones we have been referring to as wave 4 are actually wave 5.

Interesting that some of the TRU exclusives are in this set. Saves me $$ since I won't have to shell out money for them XD
And what the heck is up with Ploomette's tail??? Poor thing... she looks confused... :lookround: I also wonder if this means we'll see her as a G4 Pegasus at some point...

NO earth ponies this wave? Are earth ponies not high-class enough to even be associated with the royal bride? Ouch. I don't miss the Pinkie Pie mold too much as it's my least favorite, but I still find the absence of ANY earth ponies a bit strange.

Ooh yeah, eiher that or "she blushes often" means she will be a color-changer pony. Maybe you could run her under cold or hot water and her mane and/or cheeks turn pink or something.
Ooh, I really love the Luna, and that Celestia is white, now that Cadence absorbed all of her pinkness. But still...a whole new mold for winged unicorns? There are only three characters that would fit that mold.
Not that it matters I guess. Look at Sapphire Shores, being a friggen unicorn.

I hope so too, other generations had LOTS of different kinds of ponies with all sorts of colors, all sorts of symbols and everything, you can't even list them all off from the top of your head.
Hopefully G4 will have as many different kinds of ponies as much as there are compared to the other gens...instead of having sooo many re-releases of the Main 6 and having them being most of the different sorts. =_=;
And as others have said I dont quite understand why Heartstrings has been renames...I prefer Heartstrings over Lyra Heartstrings...
1 - where are earth ponies?! as everyone else has asked.
2 - golden delicious in the show was a boy pony with three yellow apples on his brown flank. what the heck is this unicorn with an apple family name? apple family is earth ponies! and golden delicious was a stallion! i know sometimes the show doesn't match the toys, but this is too far off for me.
Earlier I was thinking about something, but forgot to put it in my earlier post. Anyway, I really don't like how this wave includes some of the TRU exclusive ponies. I mean, yes, they are slightly different colors, but they're still the same ponies. It really makes them less special and less "exclusive" and it's not fair to those of us that shelled out the $25 (or was it $30, I forget) for that set. I mean, when I got the set, I already had the main six, so I only really got it for the exclusives.
The reason being is that stores have to bid a LOT of money with Hasbro to get the right to claim an exclusive pony. You can be sure Target paid big $$$$ for their 'Canterlot' toys, and TRU had to shell out a lot to be able to be the only ones offering that set of minis. A store would not be too happy to find that they paid a lot of money to a toy company, and then the company offered that same toy somewhere else. It could end up in a lot of lawsuits at the end.
I'm not surprised Hasbro is releasing "exclusive" toys more than once. The colors in the "exclusive" set and the blind bags are slightly different. Hasbro also said Thundercracker Transformer toy was an "exclusive" BotCon toy, but then changed the color slightly and released it everywhere. Hasbro is kind of full of lies.

I wonder if Fluttershy is meant to have a yellow mane to fit the yellow theme or not.
Interesting that they include Gardenia Glow and Skywishes who were supposed to be TRU Exclusives.

and Lyra Heartstrings huh? they re-release her? Her hair looks different though. And Trixie Lula Moon instead of just Lula Moon like the glitter version.
Need need need. I love seeing new characters and BB versions of the brushables ^.^
I hope more waves hit the US soon. What's this Wave 5, I'm still waiting on Wave 2.
I know tons of people are happy they make Celestia toys white now but it seems weird all my Celestia toys are pink. They are gonna be inconsistent now :huh: It'll be like having a different pony.

I think this is Wave 4 and the Wave of "all glitter" is Wave 5...because this wave appears to have glow in the dark Fluttershy so it would make sense that that came before the metal effect ponies...

Oh good observation about the glow in the dark fluttershy. I hope this is wave 4 because I would like to buy them. I'm not interested in the glitter ones so that would be fine with me if they were wave 5.
