I'm new here!

Hi everyone. I'm new here. My name is Christa and I was invited by a friend of mine who just sold me some blind bag FIM ponies that I've recently become addicted to.
So... a little about myself.  I'm 35, been collecting MLP for YEARS.  Got my first one from Santa when I was 3.  (Shut up, she was SO from Santa!  )  It was Bluebell.  She came in a pretty box with a pretty bow on her tail.  I actually still have her and she's in good condition.  I was always nice to my toys.  LOL.  Anyway, I will always love the G1 ponies the best.  They are classic.  I like the G3s as well though and I like the little blind bag ponies.  My favorites in the G1 are Bluebell (of course), Gusty and Firefly.  There are others I like as well, but those three I've always had a soft spot for.  The G3s and currents, well I'm a big fan of Rainbow Dash, but Fluttershy is a pony after my own heart.
I live in PA but we are going to be moving to CO sometime in the next 6 months or so.  The important people in my life are my husband (who lifts an eyebrow to the presence of my ponies, but is supportive), my mom and my friends.  I'm called 'The Pom Lady' by my local rescue because I foster and adopt their Poms whenever they have any.  Right now I only have one, his name is Chanon, he's my baby.  My sweet little Finnley crossed over the Rainbow Bridge about a month ago and we are missing him so much.  We just aren't ready for a Pommie addition right now.  But we will be.
Along with MLP, I also collect Breyer and Stone horses.  I also customize them.  I work at home, I'm a starving artist I guess, lol.  As far as my collection, well they are pretty much all packed away for the most, but they consist of mostly G1 ponies.  I LOVE the So Soft ponies so I have alot of those.  I can't wait to move and have a pony/horse room.  Hey, Hubby will have his garage, I get my ponehs.  It's a good trade.
I guess that's it.  It's nice to meet you all, I'm sure I will be very happy here in this lovely land of pony goodness!

I still have my childhood ponies too.  They are the most special in my collection.  We have other members here who collect Breyers too, so I am sure you will meet them in time

I was always a townboy when i was little I liked cars now when am older I am coolecting ponys my first pony from ebay was Firefly she is so pretty I cant take my eyes of her. Thank you everyone for the warm welcome!   Yep, avene1984 is the one who introduced me to the site. (Said both happily and scathingly - lol)  Hoping to learn alot of cool stuff.
Oh and as far as staying off the sales page goes... too late.     Gimmee gimmee gimmee...
