Yet another newbie

Hi, everyone!  My name is Jay and I am (obviously) new here. 
I live on the West Coast of the United States, not far from Los Angeles and I'm old enough to have owned a few G1 ponies back when they were new.   ;)

I got back into ponies only a few months ago while in search of a summer art activity.  I've now got a whole work table full of baits  (60+ at last count, mostly G3 but with a few G1s, a pair of 3.5, and a single G2 plus some fakies)

I like G3 the most.  I find their heads the most attractive, nicely stylized without falling over the cliff like the poor 3.5 ponies.

I recently sold the first custom ponies I ever made, a quartet of McD ponies refashioned into the superhero team The Avengers.

Thank you.  It's going to be hard to pack them up to send to their new home.  Maybe I'll have to do a new set just to keep.   :lol:

I've done sculpting in other mediums - Sculpy, Fimo, home-made clay - and I've dabbled in a bunch of other traditional art forms.  Aside from ponies, my main hobbies are sewing plush toys and cross-stitch.
