Off Topic / Bit Silly... Any Japanese Speakers/ Those Learning Japanese Who Might Help?

So yes... an absolutely silly request, but I am ridiculously bad at anything to do with foreign languages.

My karate instructor has asked me to post at least once a week on our website a word/ phrase in Japanese, with both the original kanji and the english pronounciation of it. The thing is, I have no idea where to start looking, and what sites will actually provide reliable, accurate translations

If anyone could point me towards the right direction it would be very appreciated!

Off Topic / Grand Champions Tack ID help (and brag!)

A few weeks ago at Value Village I found an awesome lot of Grand Champions. Either they were from a former collector or a kid that took really good care of their toys, because these were the nicest second hand GCs I have ever seen! Anyways, As much as I love the horses, I've never been great at IDing their tack. This one foal came with an odd rubbery set of tack, including a saddle and hood. I doubt it is GC (because really, tack like that on a foal? lol) but it fits him perfectly. Any idea of where it might belong? Thanks!

Pony Corral / Question About G1 Princess Pony Tails

Strange question, but were they rooted differently than the other ponies? I was prepping a newly acquired Princess Sparkle for cleaning when a section of her tail popped out. Turns out it was a 'mini' tail, and it had all the tinsel anchored in it. I think it's a factory error, but I thought I'd ask here first! The other princesses I have seem to have a single tail, but their heads are firmly attached and I can't bring myself to crack the seal and check it out.
