I was in Toys R' Us just the other day when I happened across these: visitors can't see pics , please register or login


I've been dying to get them since they came out but I've talked myself out of buying them numerous times.  Well I was in TRU just the other day saw them again and happened to glance at the price tag this time. To my surprise it was around $5. Immediately I thought "No way! That's just the wrong item in this spot." I scanned the item and the tag hadn't lied. To make this deal even sweeter all MLP items were 20% off! I finally got these gorgeous, Sparkly, Rainbow  Dash and Twilight fashion styles I convinced myself I didn't need for under $4.50! <3

Edit: I know they're really not all that special since they're just another version of the Main Six but I really adore glittery ponies and these will look nice along side my other Sparkle Ponies.

Wow! Congrats on an awesome set for an even more awesome price! I love this set. For some reason this size of G4 really reminds me more of G1 ponies. I love that about them.

Are you going to de box them? I'm really torn because I want to free mine and play with them. Either way...enjoy!

Re-arranging them in weird ways, changing up the look of the display, styling their hair. I like to get a bit hands-on with my figures once in a while so. ^^; I hope you figure out what you want to do with yours!

If glittery ponies are your thing I totally suggest getting them, they are very lovely. I'm not sure if its the same price across the board but I really do hope your TRU has them just as low!

I know what you mean. I ran across a slightly discounted Princess Sterling 2-pack at a Target just after Christmas.  While it wasnt' THAT much cheaper than usual it still had a "clearance" label. Even at that point in time I don't think they had been out for more than a few months at most. Just randomly discounted the much newer figure while other figures that are much older will just sit there forever at full price. TRU is really bad about never putting anything on clearance, though. I'm sure if they just hadn't simply rotated their stock the  Transformer section at my local store would still have toys from the first few waves of the previous cartoon for more than the standard retail.
