Wow, Flea Market turned up something!!

Today is my husbands and my five year anniversary <3 Apparently to celebrate, we took our daughter to a WIC appointment and then went to the flea market XD I did a power walk through it, carefully looking anywhere that showed a hint of toys. Most people there were charging five bucks for naked barbies and the like =/ Outside I was walking out back towards the parking lot and I see two ponies looking at me from the side of the table. I pause, and look down at two horribly moldy G1 collector poses, Blue Belle and Minty.

I mean, they were covered in black dot like mold, they smelled horrible, but they looked so so sad sitting there. I looked at the tape on them, and they were priced for two dollars a piece. I felt sorry for them, so I bought them. The guy declared they were very old collectable toys and the like, but that he couldn't sell them here for some reason. I toldhim no matter how they clean up I'll take care of them.

In the car, I take out some of my germ x and rub some on the mold to see how deep it's gone.

O_O

To my surprise, it comes RIGHT OFF O_O

I was shocked! It looked just like pin dot mold, the kind of stuff you have to use a nail file to get out, but it was all surface! Apparently the vendors throw tarps over their wares instead of taking them in after the days over. The ponies had gone moldy.

I got them home and cleaned them up! Here they are :)

Baby Princess Sparkle has to share her shelf for photo shoots on a regular basis XD It's the only one with SPACE XD

Wow!! :shocked: You can't even tell they had mold on them! They look brand new to me, they're gorgeous! Major congrats on saving these two lovely gals :D

Wow, they look like new!  I can't believe the vendors just leave everything outside under tarps!  At least you rescued the ponies :frolic:
