My birthstone pony! She's one of the few G3's from my childhood collection I still have, and I adore her pose, color scheme, and symbol.

-G1 babies are the only baby ponies I like. G3's always looked awkwardly proportioned to me and both the beady eyed and duck-lipped G4's are hideous. G4 fillies are adorable though. And don't get me started on those Newborn Cuties...
-I prefer pastel ponies to neon ones -I never really liked the later G1 gimmicks, especially the ones with moving parts. -G3's picture books had better stories than the cartoons. 334
Introductions / Hello, Pony People!« on: November 16, 2019, 07:56:38 PM »
Hello! I'm Mrs. Prospector! I'm a college student, and MLP's been a major part of most of my life! I collected G3's as a kid, and was really into FIM when it was airing. Now that the show's done, and MLP seems to be going in an...odd direction, I wanted to shift my obsession back to the earlier generations, which I love just as much. I don't have a huge collection yet, just a few assorted G4 things and some of my childhood G3's (I sadly gave most of mine away in my non-pony-obsessed period), but I'm starting to search antique and thrift shops for classic ponies! I love to write about and draw ponies, too, and am currently fantasizing about my ideal G5!
As for my name? When I was little, named my Lolligiggle that after hearing about a racehorse named Mr. Prospector. I thought the name was funny, and decided to call her Mrs. Prospector (I gave a lot of my ponies new, very unusual names. My Rainbow Dash was Charlie Horse, and my Triple Treat was Candy Larry!) |
