Introductions can sometimes be awkward for me
« on: January 14, 2015, 05:44:27 PM »
Hi Guys, I'm 20 years old and have just recently made my first purchase of G3 ponies to start my collection . I live in QLD Australia, and i study a dual bachelor in psychology, criminology and criminal justice as well as working casually at a bakery. I have not always had a love for my little ponies and have never owned any before. I was inspired by a friend and I can't explain the joy i get from the tv shows and movies, which becomes even stronger now that I have received my first ponies. I think my favourite so far are G3 ponies, but the G1 ponies have such a sweet look I would like to collect them as well.

Hi cscameron4! I'm pretty new here myself and am really enjoying reading everyone's posts. Everybody seems so nice. I totally understand just being suddenly taken with ponies and the joy they bring. It's unexplainable I think, but it doesn't need to be explained. Joy isn't often found, so let's go with it!

Welcome to the Arena

Always nice to see another fellow Aussie collector here on the forums.  Do you have a favourite G3 pony? :)

Hi and welcome! You sound like a really interesting person!

I too really love the G3 ponies, I am loyal to G1 given that I grew up with them, but the G3 designs really seemed to improve the pony design in many ways I felt.

I've noticed that G3 is still super popular in Australia (compared say to the US), I do wonder why?

I got a minor in criminology/criminal justice; are you hoping to pursue a career in forensic psychiatry?
