Wedding present idea help needed.

So my freind is getting married next month and I cannot think what to get her. I want it to be something different because the generic gifts are so boring. I am not creative enough to make anything and am on a budget.

Both her and her partner are in to magic the gathering and d&d. But she also likes old historic places.

Any ideas the wider the better help

Maybe you could combine both of their interests and make a map of the world of Magic the Gathering? If there is such a thing as a world of Magic the Gathering, I really don't know anything about that game
If you make the map in black-and-white and not very detailed, it shouldn't be too hard, should it?

If you could find something creative and practical, I think that would be the perfect gift! I'm just speaking from my own experience, but I loved that 95% of the wedding gifts we got were things that we actually needed around the house (it helped that we had a registry) and most of the gift cards went towards purchasing other practical needs. My friends and family seemed to save all their creative gifts for Christmas and birthdays.

Not saying that you shouldn't go the creative route, though. Like I said, I'm sure you can find something that's both unique and usable. Or even a nice MtG themed painting for them to hang up in their home. Etsy is a great place to look!

When my best friend got married I gave them a book with love poems. They're the most unromantic couple I ever encountered so I thought it would be a fun joke. She did too.

I made a recipe book out of a binder for my cousin's wedding and asked both of their moms to send me the bride and groom's favorite recipes.  It turned out really nice.  Their wedding was beach themed, so I made the cover beach themed. I printed out a differently designed page for each recipe.

This is a cute idea! You could even look for Magic/DnD themed recipes, and/or recipes that fit their favorite magic cards/DnD characters with a little digging.

Could you make a basket? My mom crochets them I could get the pattern. Then you could draw a a with each of them on it. Maybe they gain power when played together? You could make a photo album for them. If you have access to any of their pictures you could even put some special moments in it. The recipe book I've heard of and is a great idea. You can make a binder with one page with a tab for each month. They can write down birthdays, anniversaries, special events, moments to remember. You sew, right? You could sew a doll, tsum tsum, or other character to represent each of them, then have a ribbon tying their hearts together. Think of it as a swap box. Decide a theme. If they are registered you can always mix in what they want with what you know personally about them. Good luck!

the thing with these two is that they have being living together and engaged for years so home stuff is not needed and of course no gift list. It is not that bigger practice in the uk or not up in Yorkshire anyway lol

But I did get something fron etsy it is two hand made bride and groom dragons. No practical use what so ever well I guess they can hold the life dice in mtg ( I think that is what they call them)
