Well, it feels so well to be on somewhere you can feel nostalgic from such an epic cutsie cartoon like MLP.

And there's a lot of people here too! Great!

Now, I guess I should explain myself a little bit. If there's anything that made me a fan of the franchise (or, only the G1 show) was the villains.

All of them were beyond great and were pure entertainment for me. Tirek, Grogar, Lavan, Arabus, the Smooze, etc.

Now, the FiM villains? I don't want to be aggressive, but they pretty much suck. Especially in comparison.

Tirek, though. Still one of my favourite baddies ever.

Hello, well, never watched the animation of the g1 but the villains are always best, I do not know why, I identify more with them, villains of anime and movies knows, many call me crazy but do not care, and good to know that there someone who prefers the dark side :thumb:

I loved the pony smooze! I still remember reading my pony comic back in the day when the smooze was going to take over Dream Castle :)

Hullo and welcome. I certainly remember being particularly fond of Tirek (and still favour villains in general).  What a foul tempered broody fellow he was!

I agree, G1 had some great villains. Tirek is my favorite too, it was awesome to see him in G4. Enjoy the forums!

Hello and welcome to the Arena!  I finally got around to watching some of the G1 cartoon and Tirek was definitely a true baddy!  I still liked him in G4, but I think I enjoyed him in G1 a little more.
