What error stands out to you the most in the My Little Pony cartoons?

Hi,

I was looking at some My Little Pony episode descriptions, videos and pictures today and although I know the cartoons were full of errors I'm really surprised that the animators missed two major errors in Bright Lights.  Right after The ponies and Megan are caught in the mousetrap Lofty has 3 hind legs for several frames as she struggles. Everyone is being shown trapped in the mousetrap one way but in the next episode everyone is still trapped but they are shown being held in the mousetrap a different way. It's like the animators didn't even realize they did things one way and then another.

What errors in the cartoons make you wonder how the animators missed that?

Alicorn Baby Surprise in Escape from Catrina.

In one scene in My Little Pony: The Movie, the ponies are escaping from something (maybe during the sunflower forest scene?) and I believe all of them turn into other ponies for a shot. I remember Sweet Stuff becomes Gingerbread, who wasn't even in the movie. So you do wonder how such an error was made and wasn't caught!

In Escape from Catrina, two ponies (I think Posey and Lickety Split) appear twice during the fashion show. They are even shown with their clones at the very end (when all the ponies are together). I've tried to convince myself that Cherries Jubilee and Peachy got into the special at the last minute, but it's definitely an error!

Heh, the one from that set of episodes that bugged me more than the three legged-ness/different position in the next episode was the police mouse/rat being replaced with a farmer like mouse/rat

The one that makes me wonder in the Great Rainbow Caper, is the Gizmonks song of them reusing a scene. Like did they run out of segments or accidently sliced that one in again o.O but then I'm probably the only one to pick up on that since I don't think anyone likes that episode much =P

Oh! The Glass Princess, when the Raptorians went over board with Lickety's, Gusty's and Heartthrob's clean up and makeup. To be suddenly gone when they cut their hair.

Have to watch them all again! Even though I can play them all in my head

The type of error that bugs me the most are when the wrong characters are animated to a voice.  Like Cupcake saying "Don't know, can't walk" rather than Baby Cuddles in End of Flutter Valley (right after Cupcake herself asked Cuddles how her leg was, too). 

Or Locket speaking with Wind Whistler's voice after WW gets pinned under a tree branch in Quest of the Princess Ponies.  Stuff like that.  There are a ton more examples - I doubt I could remember them all!

Sometimes I am so oblivious its worrying...I have seen these repeatedly as an adult and I usually completely miss the mistakes I think the unipeg Baby Lofty is perhaps the one I do notice though!

It's particularly obvious when something briefly changes color, only to change back again! X3 I actually kind of like errors like this. They add to the retro charm and are fun to look for.

I feel the same way, I notice when ponies are switched for other ponies

Only G1 movie I saw was called something like Race For Flutter Valley I think, and the voice actors would switch soo much. Morning Glory had a raspy male's voice, which was supposed to be a bee-man, so much, lol.

Oh the G1 glitches are numerous!! 

Next time you are watching Ice Cream Wars, pay attention the first tooth ponies. They're constantly changing from one to another, sometimes one of them might be doubled in a scene. That's just sooo confusing to keep up with!

Ponies getting wings randomly always catches my eye too.

 I wonder why the Raptorians put makeup on the ponies in the first place unless it was just to make the wash scene longer.

One  of the wrong character speaking that really bugs me is in the Glass Princess when Shady and Molly are together and Shady is saying she wants to prove that she can do something right it switches to Molly and Molly finishes Shady's talk in Shady's voice.

I tried to find a picture of Lofty with the extra leg but I couldn't find one.   The errors can be fun to spot.

Yeah, the ones where ponies become the wrong species (suddenly becoming a pegasus/alacorn) really stand out to me. I'm glad I never watched the show as a kid; the different species of pony fascinated me, and those errors would have driven me nuts!
